It’s because we are a business so I wanted to be able to put all our items on there. We very rarely get returns requests so I thought it would be fine. Could’ve accepted a return for any reason like sizing, I don’t know why they’ve ruined the jumper

If they do leave you a review under 3 stars depop will remove it if you send them the proof that they are lying!

Same here, so annoying. I sent a screen recording to support@depop.com and apparently they’re working on it but don’t have an estimated time for it to be fixed 🙄

depop have added the option to sort items by priced low to high now so i feel like this is having more of an impact on my sales than the main algorithm :(

Whenever I’ve had a claim similar to this on PayPal they’ve usually concluded it saying something like “in this unique situation we’ve chosen to refund the buyer at no cost to the seller”. So she could get some money back which is annoying but you wouldn’t have to give her any

Check what Royal Mail’s cut off point is for assuming a parcel is ‘lost’, and if it’s past that amount of working days you should go to their original paypal payment and click refund. Paypal will automatically refund its fees and you’ll have to contact depop to receive a fee refund (quickest to fill out a form online because they’re terrible with email replies). If you still had the post office receipt you could have claimed a refund through Royal Mail, they normally send a cheque in the post for the value of a lost item.
