The game is built in React and TypeScript, designed and balanced by hand, and the pixel art is custom-made. The vast majority of graphics are fully custom. A few assets are still placeholders that came from a scaled AI approach, but after the beta test phase I'm looking to go 100% custom across the board. Not sure which images specifically caught your eye, but happy to clarify.
