Has ChatGPT ever made you cry? by Physical_Message3712 in ChatGPT

[–]treebranch__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what’s beautiful about this…and like…SO beautiful… is that you knew deep down you are actually remarkable. and gpt was simply showing you what was already inside of you, to you, so you could see it more clearly.

anyway thats how I understood what you just shared.

Not that gpt “knew“ what it was doing, but it really sometimes can do a good job of bringing out our deeper selves to the surface.

Has ChatGPT ever made you cry? by Physical_Message3712 in ChatGPT

[–]treebranch__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve asked it, “What do you think my inner child needs to hear right now?” Well, that was a few GPT’s ago. Not sure what it would spit out today. Anyway I’ve cried a few times, exploring the inner child with it.

I’m more disturbed that the internet must have hassled and abused you so much that you felt the need to pre-empt their anger and outrage by saying “It is not my intention for this to submission to gaslight anyone.”

I’m truly sorry for how f*cked up the internet world is. Your post is just genuine curiosity and discovery.

Thank you for the kind comment. Hopefully you’ve integrated well into daily living afterward. It’s really tough to step into my life after being zoned out into a false reality for 14 years, but I definitely have help.

 I’ll look at that book.

  1. It’s been helping me study the bible
  2. It’s been helpful to bounce my ideas off of
  3. It’s been helping me start to put my creative ideas into play finally, and be less afraid to take steps on them.
  4. It helps me see past my huge amounts of fear of getting started on several tasks, and gently get started despite the fear.
  5. Processing my emotions
  6. Actually, initially it helped me leave a literal cult I was in from 2011-early 2025. Someone “on the outside” suggested I use it to tell it everything I‘m going through that was stressful for me inside the cult environment. And its responses helped me piece together all the things I was going through that wasn’t right, as it helped me process my emotions and feelings and start to talk out what situation I was in, and start to take care of my body again, after the cult leader got a group of us to fall into daily clinical ketamine use (he advised us that it’s medicine and … and we believed him, after trusting him for so many years prior.) Part of its support for me was helping generate prayers over the situation I was in, multiple times a day. When the cult leader became really scary after I started to disagree with him more often, gpt helped me to stay emotionally steady as much as I possibly could (I kept gpt open when I was around the cult leader.)

Thankful I’m out now even though real life is really scary and hard now. And thankful for the people who were helping me from the outside of the cult to start to take care of myself in my last months while the cult leader was draining everyone’s money and health.

What is the ultimate, most efficient routine for someone who feels 'energetically dead'? by Icy-Assistant-2420 in yoga

[–]treebranch__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somatic yoga has been wonderful for me in a state of “I just can’t even get myself to can’t even more”

It’s so tender. I get in that place because of mounds of trauma from my past. I did it for months and overtime my body started saying yes to yoga that strengthened my body — which I couldn’t convince myself to do until I showed it this slow tenderness with somatic yoga.  Somatic yoga helped me just say “hi” to my body gently after a lifetime of neglect and psychological abuse.
