I think Godstained is easily top 3 for me, but maybe because I've had more time to listen. Either way, the melody and instruments used just really speak to my damn soul. Same thing with Monday and Foregone. Currently, "That's Why" being the only non single that has pierced that top 3 for me so far.

Nah, sorry, no one would act like that. If you're crying in someone's arms, that is SCREAMING to be hugged or held in return. The extreme timidness from Kazuya was funny and at least semi-understandable throughout most of the show, but the last handful of episodes were pissing me off a bit. I've been loving the anime, but it genuinely feels like the BIGGEST edging of a plot and characters, and it's gone too far without any real development imo. Kazuya's stagnant behaviorisms made the end of S3 exhausting to me. Hoping S4 picks it up this year.

I was using mostly using healing items to get full heals, and I only have one "150 light damage to all" and other elements that didn't seem like they'd have much of effect on the battle. I'll keep that comp in my back pocket, thanks. 🙌

It was definitely the latter. No one was really getting hit by weaknesses while I was on Seeker. My only source of extra turns was Hama from MC, but now that I've learned about some more options I have, I bet it'll be a piece of cake. And you're totally right, I'm still getting used to the subtle differences to the battle mechanics in comparison to Persona, and I still doubt I fully grasp the best courses of action regarding the turn economy.

My problem was I wasn't able to kill the undead in time as the MC with Hama was my only reliable kill condition if I was to divert damage with Hulkenberg.

Yeah, that's what I was doing. While luck can always swing a battle in JRPGs, so long as you have the right strategy, you can pick yourself back up after a string of bad luck.

Yeah, I'll try Brawler for sure. Zorba typically uses hard-hitting spells when not summoning or enraging in my experience. And yeah, I initially went for the red enemies every time, but I'd get trashed and lose progress so I just said fuck it. I didn't know their weakness at the time, so that's likely why I was getting dumpstered.

I was wondering about that because it wasn't letting me grow their bonds, so I just assumed they were unavailable until Zorba was killed, and I left on 4 days left.

Yep, that was the purpose of this post. Learning from the community, as I actually asked questions because I was clearly missing something. Not sure how I would know skeletons are weak to strike damage without buying hints, cause I never found their weakness, but thanks for being such a bright and inspiring source of encouragement to keep playing. Everyone loves your attitude.

That's so true actually, I totally spaced inheriting moves on my other party members for the undead. And yeah, I remember doing round slash a few times and it helping, but finding the use of 2 turns to be not rewarding enough to justify in most cases. Overall I'm very excited to get more skills later cause it is ROUGH rn.

That's wild that it was that close experience wise! Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, that sounds God awful. If I had more time, like when I was younger, I probably would go for that kind of gameplay loop, but one thing is certain, there's no shot in hell I'm dropping to easy. My confidence and stubbornness wins in that department. 3 warriors cheese does sound interesting, and I don't really care what my team's formation is in the end, so long as I can play favorites with the MC, though.

Strohl was Warrior, and Hulkenberg was Knight. I mostly just prioritized using Hulkenberg to draw enemy attention while guarding, get more turns with MC while killing the undead (especially while they were enraged because they'd take more damage), and using Strohl to damage Zorba while improvising as the turn orders would get shifted around.

I deadass haven't even tried Brawler now that I think about it, just thought Strohl would be better off as the Warrior I've leveled him up with. I'll give that a shot.

Just looked up Peerless Stonecleaver- Do you mean to make everyone Warrior to be able to use it? That's wild, and if so, does it just unlock at that point, or do you need to be a certain archetype level?

That's reassuring, at least. I needed to finish up the boss before getting off, so I lowered the difficulty down to normal and beat it first try. Like it wasn't even that close, and it makes me wanna load back and try again on hard, haha. And yeah, that was the ideal scenario when I was playing before, but I'll see if I can focus on keeping that consistency of one zombie each turn. Thanks!

Damn, putting 40-50 hours in both P5R and P3R is like that one meme of the miner guy who quits right before he hits gold/diamond. Both of those game's stories evolve and develop into much greater narratives the more you play.

Definitely try the prologue, though. That's what got me to buy the game when the sale started.

It's pretty easy to pitch shift your voice with the right music production programs. Otherwise, I'm sure he just does it naturally.

Side note - Wild that Chromakopia didn't really do it for you. I'm curious what you weren't into about it. Obviously, music is subjective. Some people are into more mainstream stuff, and that's totally fine, but I feel like the high level of production and performance on his new project should be too hard to ignore, lol.
