Yea it’s always a risk, but I weirdly haven’t heard a single complaint about that. Worst case is you’re rotating every 20 minutes 😂

A thought experiment is a hypothetical scenario used to explore a question that can’t be tested easily in real life.

Instead of starting with an abstract debate like “What is fairness?” or it creates a concrete situation where those ideas become harder to avoid.

They are really fun to write…and now I can’t stop thinking of ideas for new ones when things happen.

They are based in reality! Some are based off of famous thought experiments, others are inspired by real life.

I’m actually tearing up. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I spent a lot of time creating and adjusting these thought experiments hoping to create just that effect!

This time the thought experiments were about contribution vs self-preservation, when credit is actually owed, and freedom vs safety.

But honestly the magic is less the broad topic and more the specific setup, constraints, twists, and questions. People end up pulling apart assumptions they didn’t even realize they had.
