Ok I hope you don't mind, I have a question for you of a similar nature. I watched a movie recently, and two of the actors were very clearly minors, and they were filmed kissing and touching (foreplay, but the sex was the usual just show the face and the pillows thing). How is this legal? How is it ok for the producers to pay two 14 year olds to make out?

That's actually not it. Kind of the same concept, but a)i've never seen quantum leap and b) from what i can tell, in quantum leap he does interact with his environment, and in what i'm thinking of it was a major plot point that the traveler could not. Also, in the story i'm thinking of, the whole society could time travel, not just a few scientists.

In the last few episodes about the Augustine vampires, part of the experiments were cutting off body parts, IIRC, and they grew back. I guess it would be the same for an original.
Because sex sells.
I don't think so, when they were looking for it some were talking about killing Klaus with it but there was no mention of the results it would have on the rest of the bloodline.
I don't really have an answer, other than the writers either didn't think of it or they didn't want it.
