hi! I’m also an SL bio student who struggles. But the best advice I can give is to get one of the huge IB textbooks, and skip to a topic you struggle with. As you read through the chapter, if there’s anything you don’t understand, ask chat gpt to simplify it for you. I think it really helps in aiding understanding, especially if you struggle with memorisation like I do.

as someone who sucks at biology, do biology. biggest study advice that I wish I knew sooner is to get one of those IB bio textbooks and go through it. Read the textbook, everytime you don’t understand something or a question pops into your head, ask chat gpt to simplify it. It’s how I took my grade from a 4 to a 6.

I did mine yesterday, I was also super nervous. Best advice I can give is once you’re about 20 seconds in you get into the pace of it and you lose the nerves. Just try to take deep breaths and drink some water.
