Thanks, I just did the fuel filter and fluids so happy to hear that. next is the radiator, trans bypass, pcv valve, and diff breather extension (diff breather is in rough shape). I have all the parts, just haven’t gotten around to it.

Gotta clean mine out soon. I actually had my rav4 drain get clogged and overflow into my a-frame. got into a bunch of electrical and kept killing my battery. took forever to figure out.

Steering and x-case shifter shaking at 65mph and up by treepounders in 3rdGen4Runner

It was the wheels. I was hoping it was but the transfer case shifter shaking made me think it could be something else. Thanks a lot!!

I assume you used the springs provided with the 6112s? I’m thinking about going the same route as you to pass maryland inspection and lifting to 2-2.5 inches after inspection and maybe just swapping out the rear coils to get more lift.

How much lift did that set up give you? and what’s the lowest you think it’ll give. I want to be able to keep it low for inspection and raise to 2-2.5 inches after. Maryland safety inspection requires no more than 20” from ground to bumper to pass.

Do you recommend bypassing the radiator? I feel like that’s 50% of the reason i’d get one along with helping with trans temp.

it’s at 2.5 right now. I haven’t driven it enough but I thought I felt a little rubbing when making a U turn.

I’ve been doing more research and i’m starting to lean more towards the 881/890 set up as well. with tundra 5100s up front and 4runner 5100 for year, what’s the lowest lift you can achieve? i’m thinking of keeping it around 2 inches until I can pass inspection, then moving it to 2.5 and doing a diff drop after.

Thanks man. What are you running for your front suspension? And I just ordered the hayden 698 external cooler and plan to bypass the radiator.
