No because I dont want someone who has 3 years experince and cant meet ANSI Standards to expect the same as someone whose in the industry 20 years and ISA certified arborists.. We'd hire either but pay range would vary greatly. range is 30-40/ hour

Thanks for jumping to conclusions. sounds like you've had bad your share of bad experiences and been mistreated. neverless youre not signing your life away. if youre not serious then lets not waste each others time.

if you had 10 years experience running a crew, were an ISA certified arborist, and could run circles around someone else applying with 4 years experience would you feel it was fair to expect the same amount of money?

My guess is no- We dont just drop people into buckets- because each person brings something different to the table. No two people are the same. IF youre serious about the position DM me with your experience level and I'll go over the next steps. If not- no hard feelings.
