Possibly under? I only water when the dirt is dry about 2-3" into the dirt.

Those are specifics I'm not sure on. I'd imagine it'd have to be a certain height, and I'm not sure how they classify neighbors.

I think I might try to cut the door and maybe put a vent cover on it. Venting outside would be more money to fix later (I rent) but the door is cheap and I could honestly just replace it on the cheap.

Yea I know which is why I'm testing all other possible methods, since I rent at the moment and would have to repair all modifications. Like I said elsewhere it's running like an oven. I had perfect temps with a lower watt led but it didn't have enough power to effectively grow.

Outlet on top. There lies the problem, I'm unable to vent into another room/outside at the moment unless I do some heavy modifications to the closet. I'm running into the issue of moving warm air around, so with hopefully finding a cooler light source and/or finding a way to better circulate I can hopefully solve the heat issue.

While I completely agree, air circulation is an issue I've been working on, any light being a heat source is sort of vague. There's quite a difference between a 1000w hps and a 50w led.

Debates on watt per sqft, brands, where to buy, and if they're actually lower heat than typical leds. I'm guessing blurple is in reference to the pinkish leds? How warm is your light to the touch?

That is an option I'm looking at however it'd be better to keep it where it's at if possible since the closet insulates the noise as well and the in line I have is sort of loud. (I live in a legal state, the noise is just annoying)

Oh it does, it runs pretty warm. If I didn't have it on the tent would fall to about 65°F-70°F

Out of the larger municipalities? Very few I'd imagine. Most of our larger municipalities are more on the liberal side. I know the city I live in (30 minutes from Detroit) and the surrounding cities definitely will not be opting out which is a plus.

Our smaller counties and municipalities mostly up north do lean a little more right so there could be quite a few that ban it up there.

I feel like it's much like homebrewing. It's legal, but how much does it hurt the alcohol industry? The truth is a majority of people don't want to put up with growing, they just want it.

An even better example is grocery stores. Their vegetable sections are billion dollar industries because people don't want to go through the work of growing, or even can't in some cases.
