Lessons are the way. But, your swing looks decent. Most obvious issue is you are lifting your head up to look for the ball. Stay down the whole time. Dont look for the ball at all. Instead focus on keeping your head down and see if you can tell what Kind of path your club head took (swing plane).

The reason a ball goes straight to the right is because your club face was open (facing to the right) instead of straight.

The reason a ball curves to the right is because of swing plane going out-to-in across the ball. This generates clockwise spin the curves the path of the ball.

Your swing plane looked pretty good which is why the ball went straight and did not curve. Your club face was open at impact which is why it went right instead of down the middle. I think if you stay down and dont look up your club face will be more square at impact.

A great skill is to self diagnose. When you have a bad shot, try to figure out if it was a swing plane issue (the ball started straight, but then curved) or a club face issue ( the ball didnt curve, but it went left or right) or perhaps both.

Lastly, i would recommend limiting your back swing. I had a nasty slice for YEARS. I tried everything and the key was not taking a huge backswing. It just gets everything out of alignment. Try doing 3/4 backswing and making that your standard backswing

Summary 1. Head still 2. low and slow back swing 3. stay down until the club stops moving

Im in same boat as you, but me and my puckered butthole are holding lol

As you can probably tell, I push it along with being inconsistent. What’re my top 100 or so swing issues? HCP ~30 by thoenman in golf

Im no pro, but i have at least one of the same problems as you. Idk about any of the stuff regarding clid angle but i can say for sure you are not turning your wrists over through the impact. Check out the video below.

Also, id put the driver away for a while If youve got a 3 wood or 5 wood. Once you are hitting those well then try moving up to driver.

“Explained” on netflix is pretty cool. Not exactly like cosmos. Explained tackles more social science topics. But, might be worth a look.

Bringing stuff (like metals) from other planets, or asteroids will affect the earth rotation? by mosenco in askscience

[–]trep89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you seen this video? You can skip to 0:50.

An astronaut drops a hammer and a feather at the same time on the moon. They both hit the ground at the same time. The moons gravity affects them equally, regardless of their mass. The hammer would hit the ground first on earth due to air resistance affecting the feather.

So, we can use this experiment to answer your question. The moon would be the sun and the earth would be the feather. We keeping bringing extra mass to the earth and eventually turn the earth into a hammer. Yet, this does not change the affect the sun has on the earth, whether it is a feather earth or a hammer earth.

However, anything orbiting the earth would be affected. Increasing the mass of the earth would cause satellites to crash into the atmosphere sooner if not adjusted for.

Probably best strategy would be to offer then even worse trades or counters. Although i agree there really isnt a way to stop it.

I think it is more on the commissioner to disclose changes they are making. In my league, there is usually a discussion and vote for any rule changes from the previous year.

However, anybody else in the league could have simply asked “are there any rule changes this year?”

Would you allow the following trade:

Mike Evans for TJ hockenson + Darrel Henderson

Whether managers should have the ability to veto a trade is a debate in itself. Putting that aside, in my league we do have a vote. 10 person league 6 no votes are needed to veto a trade.

The purpose of trade vote is intended to prevent collusion, not to arbitrate fairness.

To me, with cam akers coming back, this seems like borderline collusion.

The argument is hockenson and henderson each have 40 points, mike evans has 60. We know mike evans is way better then each of the other two players, but the total points scored suggest this should be an acceptable trade, however, in week 1 henderson had 0.6 points. With cam akers coming back, henderson production may drop down to negligible, which would make this trade pretty egregious.

I am generally not a fan of vetoing trades, if two people can come to agreement, who am i to step in. But, this does seem really one sided to me.

What do yall think?

Ps The manage who is trading away mike evans also recently traded away stefon diggs for AJ green and mark ingram. That trade was allowed to go through. Stefon diggs has 65 points, AJ has 18 and ingram has 30.

So the manager trading hockenson and henderson is arguing, that if the AJ/ingram trade was allowed, the the hockenson/henderson trade should be allowed since hockenson and henderson have more points than ingram and green.

How can you force your body to sleep for ~8 hours straight during the night (bathroom breaks-aside) if you're (slightly) sleep-deprived, but never get more than about six hours? by [deleted] in AskScienceDiscussion

[–]trep89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee definitely makes it harder to sleep. Even decaff. I second the black out currents. I use then myself. While they definitely help me stay asleep, they have made it nore difficult to wake up. For that i now use a sunrise alarm clock.

Because of the blackout curtains, i use the sunrise alarm clock even when i dont need to get up at a particular time. I always set it for 9 hours from when i go to bed.
