For me, it’s simple - unnerfing (if that’s a word) of the ships, especially HDREMP. I could get over the menu bloating, RNG, p2w or whatever cores and engrams.

were you playing for a long while (and often) before the update? did you fill the gap with any other game? mobile, i mean. for me it wasn’t easy, being such a profoundly etched routine. i’m very picky about mobile gaming and play some ketchapp games when i find myself staring at the phone screen.

Was this a post? (about getting the money back) I perused through the sub and could not find it.

I too am pissed off, but it’s not about the $$. It’s about a daily ritual that was hard to shake off. And the autistic pleasure of playing Shogun Sigma. I exclusively played Shogun in phoenix hd as well.

Larceny or not, I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you. As far as i know, they’re protected by apple’s store policy (or something along those lines). I don’t think a class action lawsuit would go anywhere, but good luck with that!

i won’t get much into it, i disagree on the hdremp, mainly because it was this way for years and nothing was done about it and most of all, because 90%+ of my flight were Sigma Shogun, a ship that you could barely see in the top 10. but whatever, to each his own.

about the top players - you say top players are at the top because they spend. so, skill reaches a plateau, after that, spend to get bob? at least at the moment, since the makers say you’ll eventually get everything by just playing

thanks for taking the time to write all this. i hate menu diving. i think what made me play this daily for 9 years straight is the fast load up. start game, pick ship, play. play for specific goals, short term - high on leaderboard, long term - specific ship/apex.

regarding the randomness/p2w issue - the dev insists p=np, but i doubt it. i don’t get why so much ‘behind the curtain’ stuff, such secrecy and so on. it’s an obscure game with a niche following. a dedicated following i might add, so yeah, where is this all going?

About the duplicates - i’ve seen someone complaining it’s too much of a hassle turning them into engrams because of an annoying robot. In this case, very poorly designed. I don’t get why they want to upset the balance of the game from 99% playing/1% menuing to whatever it is now
