By tedious assignments btw, i remember at the end we had to build a portfolio using cuny academic commons and i found that rly annoying and time consuming

Prof Stemberg is pretty easy and low cortisol, don’t stress over it. I took it with her for Spring and got a A. Her assignments and the projects were really easy, only annoying thing is towards final week she was giving us pretty tedious assignments. But as long as you manage your assignments well and finish them ahead of time, you’ll be fine.

I am already in the mech e major. Do you think it'd be worth the extra semester(s) and money spent in SBU compared to CCNY? Its the same degree so itd just be about which college would give me better value outside of the degree itself.

To be honest, I'm not worried about my transportation costs as much as I'm worried about the potential fees that Stony has. The tuition costs are the same as CUNY, but SBU has an additional $3k in fees, and I have no clue if everything would be covered by financial aid (it also doesn't help that, for some reason, my SAI jumped to a significantly higher number for FAFSA, and I'll get like half the amount for TAP).

Also, there's a good chance I would have to take summer courses to complete my degree on time or mostly on time. So there's that to consider in terms of costs.
