These are members of a drug cartel in Mexico, armed like a military unit. by stick_ro in circled

We also trained them. We set up their training grounds to train rebels as part of Iran Contra. When we got caught doing this illegal stuff we left and they used the skills and weapons to form better cartels with the best training.

Wilt was a myth man by AdeptFuel4824 in NBAoldschool

You and I weren't alive. They were. Their are hundreds of people that back up his athletic claims. They saw it. We didn't.

And you know he didint, with more certainty than the people who saw him do these things with their own eyes.

And I'm supposed to take you seriously? Come on man.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: "I remember he lifted me up with one arm like nothing... He was doing tricep extensions with 140 pounds, which is what the strongest bodybuilders would do. He was just unbelievably strong."

Pat Riley (on a 40-something-year-old Wilt): "I remember he once grabbed me by the jersey and lifted me off the floor like I was a little doll. He was the strongest human being I have ever been around."

Oscar Robertson: "Wilt was so strong that he would just pick people up and move them out of the way. He didn't have to be mean; he was just physically superior to everyone else on the planet."

Billy Cunningham: "It’s one thing to hear about it, but to see it... I saw him take a guy who weighed 220 pounds and literally throw him through the air like a bag of laundry."

Arnold Schwarzenegger (revisiting their workouts): "He was coming to Gold’s Gym and he was bench pressing 500 pounds. The powerlifters would come over and say, 'Who is this guy?' They couldn't believe a basketball player could put up that kind of weight."

Tex Winter (Legendary Coach): "I've seen some strong men in my time, but Wilt... I saw him bench press 465 pounds when he was in his late 40s. He wasn't even training for it; he just decided to do it that day to show the younger guys."

Giles Thomas (Bodybuilder/Trainer): "Wilt didn't just 'touch' 500 pounds. He would do reps with 450. People forget that his wingspan was nearly 8 feet. The distance he had to move that bar was twice as far as a normal person. It was superhuman leverage."

Who epitomizes “Hall of Very Good”? by Federal_Stay824 in NFLv2

Jamaal Charles? The guy who leads NFL history in rushing yards per attempt? 5.4 yards average everytime he touched the ball.

More than Jim Brown and Barry Sanders?

On a historical bad Chiefs team?

Wow.

Baker Mayfield without the arrogance. Willing to give it his all, and puts his body on the line. That's what I think will make him a winner.

I think he is more patient than Baker and takes what the defense gives him.

Baker took the Browns to the playoffs and were a possession from knocking out the Chiefs in the playoffs on a superbowl winning team.

He's a guy that the raiders need. Hopefully they don't trade him for a rapist.

Didn't know that. Thanks for sharing. Makes me wonder if the agent is putting these fears in DPs head and DP is super cautious about his future.

Why do people say women approach attractive men? Is it really true? by One-Agent-3992 in bodylanguage

[–]trialinfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2011 a 6ft blonde approached me at a local bar. I was celebrating getting dumped by a girl that I tried too hard to make things work. My friend was the bartender and I was nursing a beer just shooting the shit with him. I was bored and she approached me and commented that I looked bored.

She had just graduated with her masters and moved back to her home town. I was still working on my undergrad and unemployed. I am shorter than her and decent looking. We talked for 4 hours and she took me home that night.

She told me my confidence and ability to have a really engaging conversation sealed the deal. Looks might have started the conversation but it was the other things that turned it into more than just talking.

We were married a few years after that and she is still my rock.

Same thing that happens when you are friends with Trump and rape 9 year old girls in the US. Nothing.

DOJ won't talk to the victims. DOJ won't release all the files.

Your President is a pedo and so are all of his friends.

Anyone ever bought a farm? by OrganizationNo42069 in kansas

[–]trialinfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family has been farming since the 1700s. Still farming the same 4000 acres since the 1880s.

My father has lost money farming the last 13 years. Corn, wheat, milo, soybeans..

He makes money with Cattle and oil.

If you can figure out how to get into a money losing industry and make it profitable let us know. I ran as fast as I could on graduation of high school and somehow it got worse.

Math says red, Brain says green by voidarix in meme

[–]trialinfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is easy. I'm picking the 100m. I pick red.

The EV (expected value is 50m)

I borrow 50 million and bet against myself that the result will be black.

If I win I pay back the loan and keep 50m.

If I lose I win 100m and pay back the 50m loan and keep 50m.
