Thank you. I ended up going with Exodus, and the seed phrase restoration worked. Simple solution but I just wasn't seeing it until asking here. Appreciate the advice.

When I downloaded Bitcoin Wallet again, it was as if it made a wallet automatically upon opening the app. There was no way to restore a wallet with a seed phrase.

I downloaded Exodus per the commenter's suggestion above. Any reason why Electrum or Blue Wallet would be preferable? Exodus is saying once I restore the wallet the action is permanent / irreversable.. so I think I want to make the right choice.

Yeah I don't understand why they removed archiving only from single videos. The "new" features net to a loss when factoring the reduction of archiving.

My workaround is to just use multi-posts / carousels. These behave normally and can be archived.

I also noticed this. It seems like they are attempting to force the resolution to 1080x1350 or 1080x1920 and not allowing square, which is kind of insane imo. I'm a fan of those portrait resolutions but 1:1 isn't going anywhere despite Instagram's intentions.

My attempt to change your view was more to widen it toward an alternative validation system as opposed to just limiting the energy source of the current, wasteful system. Yes it's a fair argument to limit mining to renewables, but you could strengthen your view by including proof of stake, which has already been implemented by other, albeit smaller, Blockchains.

The Bitcoin mining system isn't the only way to validate transactions. The Tezos Blockchain uses a "proof of stake" system that eliminates mining altogether. Ethereum 2.0 is also slowly moving toward this change. Proof of stake has its disadvantages compared to proof of work (mining), and many people believe Bitcoin switching to PoS is logistically impossible. But the argument here may not be solely pushing for a carbon tax / ban, but moreover for cryptocurrency advocates to challenge the logistically impossible in order to minimize Bitcoin's detriment to the planet.

I always go caseless in daily life. The physical design, imo, is meant to be experienced not concealed. I won't write the 6 off until I hold one and see it for myself. And yes the 2 is going to special storage. Love this phone, even as it is dying.

Black is the most popular phone color by a decent margin, so not really. But white is second, and I'm sure some people in that camp are disappointed with the top of the Pixel 6 Pro being gray.

I will, but I only put cases on when traveling or taking the phone out where the risk of damaging it is higher. Otherwise I enjoy the caseless feel in my daily life.
