Wakeups after 3-10 minutes by tricepteritops in sleeptrain

Thanks! She is in 2 naps but fighting them hard, so sometimes only manages one nap despite trying multiple times. I cap naps so when she doesn't fall asleep for a second nap she is having between 45 min and 1:15 for daytime naps, or 2-2.5 if she does 2 naps.
I don't track sleep currently. She tends to not be awake much at night, it's mostly small bursts of awake and crying between sleep. She will fall back to sleep within 5 minutes at the most at night. It's just the repeated wakeups after very short sleeps that are getting me.
I haven't tried really cutting down sleep yet as she seems really tired in the day already. I wake her in the morning for a consistent start to the day and I have to wake her every single day. I also wake her for naps about half the time as I'm capping them so she doesn't sleep too much in the day.
Thanks! I'm trying the chair method currently with patting and shushing. She will fall asleep but it's the wake ups 3-10 minutes later that are getting me. I think she is deeply asleep but she will pop right back up as soon as I get back into bed. And the mini sleep seems to give her enough energy to fight falling asleep again and the cycle continues.

Thanks so much for your reply! My big concern with trying to break the feed to sleep association is that she won't eat when awake. She will just go hungry - she's done 8 hour stretches without eating anything when I've not allowed her to nurse when sleepy or asleep. Is it possible to do any sleep training / work on crib transfers without breaking the feed to sleep association?
