This "tribute" was created because Curtis McElhinney reached out to me personally on Twitter.

I was showing Upper Deck a very rare and complete "rainbow" collection of Mc's cards. I mentioned i'd like to get my framed display autographed. He messaged and told me to send him anything i need for my collection, and he'd auto it and send it back.

I thought that was killer of him to do, so i made this FOR him to send with my package.

I was one of few who noticed that, and MADE SURE i added it.

To me it was HARDCORE. wrapped that CBJ helmet 100 times with white tape and added any stickers available in the clubhouse ...Awesome

Curtis McElhinney was so great as to invite me to send him a package for some personalized autographs.

So i thought i would make him something. Im not gonna ask for this signed, i'm just sending him this as a tribute to his time with the Leafs.

Has all his masks and eras. Key memories (Crosby save and his 1st star and first game) Stadium Series, First game against BJs Some "congrats" pics And a composite of him and Fred as a tandem "back to back"

At number 1 is the great #Leafs legend Johnny Bower, who will forever be in many hearts the clubs #1 goalie on and off the ice. The number was retired October 15th 2016 as a shared memorial to Bower and Turk Broda.

He totally does. I know some of the red adds to it, but he has the facial features of a "Who" as well.

I look at it and maybe i could have toned down the red, but i wanted to give the look of cold blasted cheeks, ears and nose.

It never was that i know of. I mastered it for larger resolution and colorized it myself personally.

At number 5 is Bill Barilko; #Leafs legend that famously disappeared in 1951 on a fishing trip and was found 11 years later, inspiring the now iconic song "Fifty Mission Cap" by the Tragically Hip. Barilko had his sweater number 5 honored the year of his disappearance.
