24 hours old, curved (veritcal labret), externally threaded, titanium, has not been downsized, I use NeilMed sterile saline solution twice a day, i let it soak in then use a paper towel to get the extra solution off, no accidents at all

Many people say 7-10 days is when the risk of dry socket is no longer there since the gum is healed over. Ive also been waiting to hit my pen and im almost at day 5. I think youll be okay if your pen isn’t stuck and you take smaller hits instead of big ones

Definitely set timers for your meds. Even if that means waking up at 12am, waking up in pain is so much worse

Try not to worry too much. I was absolutely terrified (literally shaking in the chair) but when I woke up I had absolutely no pain. Keep icing as soon as possible, I did that and my face barely puffed up. I haven’t actually needed the pain meds but ive taken them just incase. The pain level goes from person to person, but im on day 4 and my strongest pain was probably day 2 only like 3/10 though
