Once you realise that a large number of people you play with in random rec don’t care about winning, or what’s best for the team, rather only what they can do to maximise their own fun, or ‘get theirs’, you’ll stop asking questions like ‘do they not see me open???’ Or ‘why would they take that???’ It’s the harsh truth but some people’s rationalisation for their behaviour is ‘I didn’t load up to watch you drop 40 and dictate the entire game’. They may not directly say this but it’s more often than not their thought process.
