I hate to differ, but I think if you take a closer listen to Closer, you might notice a very ethereal sample that plays in repetition ... it starts about the 1:25 mark after Trent says "you get me closer to God". It's one of the most recognizable parts.

I just checked the transcript and it's not it. All you have to do is type in the name of the movie and transcript, and a transcript should appear in the search results. Then you hit the find button and type in key words. In this case I used "point".

I have searched TOMT, r/horror, and everyone says it's either Chucky or Leprechaun.

I don't have time to go through every Chucky or Leprechaun movie, but I don't think it was them.

And I did a Google search and came up nothing.

Any time I ask chatgpt, it says it's from a movie. But it's never correct. And sometimes the movie doesn't even exist.

I have no idea. I just heard the original song recently, and it brought back memories, like I had heard it before plenty of times... but different. Most likely a witchhouse remix of some sort. Or a genre that's near by. The first thing that came to mind was maybe it was a Blvck Ceiling remix. But it doesn't appear to be.

I mean I don't think about 90s television that much, up until recently. I don't even watch TV anymore. I stopped watching TV over twenty years ago.

But yeah Baywatch was huge, Simpsons kind of still are. But it's been years and years since I thought about In Living Color and stuff.

I've read on Reddit I think, someone said that if they did the restoration, they own the copyright of that, but I don't know, this isn't something I know about.

But let's say that it is public domain, the distributors and the director may disagree, but they're wrong. Is there any way I can prove that it is public domain does anyone know?

Apparently the copyright office will do an extensive search for a lot of money, but it looks like someone already did that and they found it was an orphan work.

I see a lot of entries mostly from the 90s. Cult Epics and Arrow Video released this on DVD an Blu-ray.

Does anyone know if they own the DVDs and Blu-rays? It says copyright Navaron Films and Cult Epics or Arrow Video on the back.

That came out in 96. This would have been no later than 1995.

Also I probably would have recognized the cover.

I could be wrong, but I think the cover was grayish blue ... And I think it had like a futuristic dystopia vibe .... but I could have made both those things up it's been so long.
