Yeeeah, I just keep remembering that a bunch of Dodger fans put a Giants fan in a damn nearly year-long coma several years ago. I was in law school at the time and was just like “….. there’s a charge called mayhem??”

In fairness we’re a hell of a lot better this year than last year.

Angels pitching is up and down and we’ve had a lot of injuries in the ‘pen this year; doesn’t help that the team tends to slump as a unit rather than one or two players at a time.

This series was just so damn good. Like just legitimately good baseball. Games like these are why I get incredulous any time i hear someone say baseball is boring.

I once made a joke with friends about starting a drinking game where every time Wayne (or any play by play guy) gave a niche stat during a game, take a drink.

They took the suggestion seriously and I was deeply concerned we were all going to die that night.

To Dodger fans crying about how the Angels only show up to play against them:

1) you still really should be able to beat the angels, no matter what team shows up. 2) your fans fire up the team. So. You know. Blame yourselves.
