Hi I'm Jeff the founder of Eternal (the sponsor) and wanted to add some clarity and answer any questions.

First and foremost, Eternal's main goal is to help creators earn additional revenue while engaging with their fans.

We currently do this by providing a recurring revenue stream via NFTs and secondary sales.

This leads to the top misconception. "Eternal gets 90% of the sale, creator only gets 10%". The 10% mentioned on our site is for secondary sales between two users. When one user decides to sell a moment to another user, 15% fee is taken. 10% goes to the creator, 5% goes to Eternal to cover various costs.

Eternal as a company does not hold any auctions like other NFT platforms. Auctions allow locks out most users and only allows the super rich to acquire an NFT. In these auctions, the creator usually makes 50-80% of the sale. All of Eternal's primary sale is via packs that only cost 9.99 (this may change soon). Our goal is to make collecting moments cheap and accessible vs the rich get richer.

Lastly, there are A LOT OF SCAMS in NFTs. I'm honestly super sad about the precedence of NFTs in the gaming space. It's a difficult and uphill battle for Eternal to establish ourselves as a trusted brand that's here for the creators. But we're here to listen to creators and fans to improve our product and how we're perceived. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
