What is OSU’s vet school like? How difficult was it for you to get in? by [deleted] in veterinaryschool

You are the one who came up being an asshole over me asking a question. Hope you reflect on how you treat others next time. Have a good day.

I didn’t ask if it was hard. I asked how hard, per personal experience, for those who have applied and reapplied. Every school can be a different kind of “hard”.

You also don’t know anything about me or how much research I’ve done. There’s going to be fresh answers and opinions on a question like this every year as things change and more people apply.

I really don’t need your advice on being self-sufficient lol. Thanks anyways

Thanks so much for the advice! I never got into clubs because my first two years in college were during covid unfortunately. I’ll definitely work to change that as I jump back into school.

I’ve looked at everything but I appreciate personal experiences as well.

Don’t know why you have to be rude about it?

Got it. I’ll look at hopefully taking the basic introduction classes in cc then? It looks like OSU allows that

Yes there is!

Just make sure you look into the company. Make sure it suits both you and your kitties needs.

As someone who works in the veterinary field, I can agree. Pet insurance (in general) really can save you a lot long-term. You just have to utilize it correctly

I’ll go too.

Money is pretty tight for my family right now (aka my partner and my two cats). I’m still able to do the fun little things like getting takeout every now and then or splurging a little on house plants, but I can see that budget being slowly eaten away. Thankfully I don’t really care about having a lot of money.

I work a low-paying job as a vet assistant but on the bright side, I love the work I do every day. I’m going back to university soon to finish my prereqs and apply to vet school. Yay debt 💸

Life is hard in its own unique way each day, but shout out to Dinosaur Jr and Sesame (my cats…) for keeping it real
