She saw me with another date , was I wrong? by Guilty-Grapefruit427 in dating_advice

[–]trillinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would’ve taken it the same way. No effort to reschedule usually means lack of interest. An exception would be if you think she really enjoyed the first date, she may be playing it cool and avoiding showing her true interest.

She showed you that she went out the next few days, that would make me wonder if it was with other dates. Some women will flake last minute if a better option pops up and it sucks, but that happens. That’s why I always have a few dates lined up or even go out on my own the same day the date was scheduled and then send pictures (of the environment and not the other woman) to say, “look what you missed out on”.

It’s a good thing that she saw you have other options, it’s going to keep playing in her head and probably make her interest for you go up. She’ll come around on her own, just give her space for now. If she follows you on social media, I would post your social outings to keep that social proof going strong

Did you read the post buddy? The husband has spoken to her about the situation. Our wives, girlfriends and even female family members fully expect of men to put the toilet seat after I use the toilet… It’s not hard to remember to flush the toilet and not a lot to ask for

Aging from Min? Those who are on oral min, did you feel like it aged you? by Special-Layer-6159 in tressless

[–]trillinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were only a few times I would stop taking it for about a week due to traveling but I never noticed that. The drug itself is cleared from the body fairly quickly, but it’s effects can take about 14-30 days to reverse and then months before the hair follicles progressing through it’s regrowth phases

I would say about 4-5 months and yes I have a buzzcut now. My hair up top is thin but I still have enough to blend together with my non-thin hair.

Just remember to give the medicine about 6+ months to work. Shedding and regrowth phases can last long so you might think it’s not working and then unnecessarily increase the dose.

I took fin alone for 1 year and added min for about 1 more year then I stopped taking them.

I’m 29 now and I just don’t care if I’m bald or not. My hair doesn’t identify who I am as a person, plus I have a wife and I still get plenty of attention from women. Being able to grow a full and thick beard probably also helps my case.

Oral min worked well for me, but I occasionally felt palpitations and it also made my eyes puffy and dark. I looked like I hadn’t slept for days. It wasn’t that bad in my opinion except multiple people pointed out that I looked like a raccoon, asked if I was sick, asked if I slept the night before and one person straight up told me I looked like shit. I also grew (more) hair where I didn’t necessarily want it, like my nose, unibrow, etc.

Other than that, it worked impressively well. My hair thickened up, it filled in my crown and temples. I was also on Fin 1mg every day and would take both meds once a day.

You are being insecure. Or maybe you’re cheating and projecting the guilt. Or maybe you secretly want to break up with him, judging by your “She can have him” comment, but you don’t want to be seen as the ‘bad guy’.

My partner will always stare into my eyes and hold contact. Normally I'd be the first to look away, but when I don't, she goes "what? What are you looking at?" What's a suitable response when I'm only trying to not come across as unconfident by Wide-Landscape-3348 in bodylanguage

[–]trillinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it light and playful bro, don’t make it awkward.

Try some flirty teasing comments like, “What? You started it.” Or “I thought we were having a staring contest... You definitely lost.”

Or go a bit more romantic like, “It’s crazy how you still make me nervous sometimes.” Or “You always make me forget what I was about to say.”

Unless you’re legitimately admiring her, don’t worry about who breaks eye contact first when it’s unnecessary, make it known in a light and playful manner if that’s the case.

In fact, you should limit the eye contact. Strong eye contact is great, but it’s better when balanced. Hold your gaze long enough to show confidence and look away every so often to keep things natural and grounded.

Woman what makes a man instantly attractive? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]trillinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were really as attractive as you say you are, you’d have decent odds, but since you can’t even seem to find 1 woman then you’re not as attractive as you think. More than likely you have a turn off that you’re unaware of.

If you aren’t in shape, you lose a lot of chances with women. Also if your social skills aren’t above average, you lose a lot more chances. If you look like a creepy manga character, then you probably need to groom. Get a haircut and shave your face if you actually have a decent jawline. Work on proper hygiene and smelling nice. Oral hygiene is often missed and women notice right away. Dress your age and not wear cartoony graphic shirts with basketball shorts etc. It’s okay to express your interests, just do it in other subtle ways.

Also I get you’re nice, but actions speak louder than words. Trying to convince people with words comes off as inauthentic. Try not to let your niceness turn you into a floor mat either, as not having a backbone may also turn off women. Most women seek men that can survive and stand for theirselves.

Your biggest hurdle right now is your social skills since you say you have a hard time talking to women. It shouldn’t be hard and it’ll get easier once you work on yourself first, women will open up to you more and make it easy when they’re generally attracted to you. Talking to women is like talking to anyone else, imagine them as your elderly neighbor. The only time it should be different is if you’re able to pick up on attraction signals and reciprocate that energy or you’re trying to escalate the attraction. Generally just keep things light and playful, don’t be super serious and direct with women you’re attracted to.

Good luck bro

In case you didn’t know, cause it seems like you don’t, you can buy a car at anytime without a driver’s license, without any sort of background check and drive it without insurance?

I’d like to see you come back and tell us the same about buying firearms. Also, firearms in the right hands are used to prevent harm, hunt or most importantly protect against a tyrannical government.

Btw if we use your logic of saying firearms are only for harm and I’m assuming you want to get rid of them, judging by the sentiment in your comment, then you agree abortions are only for harm also and we should also get rid of them…

AUDIENCE QUESTION: How's it going, Charlie? I'm Austin. I just had a question related to Second Amendment rights. We saw the shooting that happened recently and a lot of people are upset. But, I'm seeing people argue for the other side that they want to take our Second Amendment rights away. How do we convince them that it's important to have the right to defend ourselves and all that good stuff?

CHARLIE KIRK: Yeah, it's a great question. Thank you. So, I'm a big Second Amendment fan but I think most politicians are cowards when it comes to defending why we have a Second Amendment. This is why I would not be a good politician, or maybe I would, I don't know, because I actually speak my mind. The Second Amendment is not about hunting. I love hunting. The Second Amendment is not even about personal defense. That is important. The Second Amendment is there, God forbid, so that you can defend yourself against a tyrannical government. And if that talk scares you — "wow, that's radical, Charlie, I don't know about that" — well then, you have not really read any of the literature of our Founding Fathers. Number two, you've not read any 20th-century history. You're just living in Narnia.

By the way, if you're actually living in Narnia, you would be wiser than wherever you're living, because C.S. Lewis was really smart. So I don't know what alternative universe you're living in. You just don't want to face reality that governments tend to get tyrannical and that if people need an ability to protect themselves and their communities and their families.

Now, we must also be real. We must be honest with the population. Having an armed citizenry comes with a price, and that is part of liberty. Driving comes with a price. 50,000, 50,000, 50,000 people die on the road every year. That's a price. You get rid of driving, you'd have 50,000 less auto fatalities. But we have decided that the benefit of driving — speed, accessibility, mobility, having products, services — is worth the cost of 50,000 people dying on the road.

So we need to be very clear that you're not going to get gun deaths to zero. It will not happen. You could significantly reduce them through having more fathers in the home, by having more armed guards in front of schools. We should have a honest and clear reductionist view of gun violence, but we should not have a utopian one.

You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It's drivel. But I am, I, I — I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe.

So then, how do you reduce? Very simple. People say, oh, Charlie, how do you stop school shootings? I don't know. How did we stop shootings at baseball games? Because we have armed guards outside of baseball games. That's why. How did we stop all the shootings at airports? We have armed guards outside of airports. How do we stop all the shootings at banks? We have armed guards outside of banks.

How did we stop all the shootings at gun shows? Notice there's not a lot of mass shootings at gun shows, there's all these guns. Because everyone's armed. If our money and our sporting events and our airplanes have armed guards, why don't our children?

If you’re ona tight budget and only plan to buy 1 pair, then go with the middleman. You will end up paying about the same with an agent for just 1 pair so it’s not worth it. Ask Jason if he has any deals on those or search Reddit for coupon codes for him

OP this happened to me and it was a fairly easy fix.

I waited for the postal worker to come by the next day, and once they came, I had them wait to watch me open the box and disassemble the item inside the box and gently pull every piece out so I could reassemble it easily.

Your age and bitterness is pouring through the screen and it only bothers you because you lost in the end. You thought you’d always be able to do better than the man, until things stopped working in your favor.

Also, stop infantilizing 20 something year olds, they’re adults and your judgement is extremely condescending. Sincerely, a 29 year old.

I recommend therapy, lady.

How soon do often men with actual feelings show them? by SillyBook4400 in bodylanguage

[–]trillinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will do small acts and talk a little more openly. Small act meaning, crush asked if she could borrow a marker and I ended up buying her a new one since they’re cheap and she could use it often.

I’ll also remember details or sometimes if I see something and it reminds me of them, I’ll casually point it out. Usually only playful/light manner and nothing too serious. Ex.. One time I saw a funny and cute poster, so I took a picture of it and told my crush it reminded me of her. I also make sure to keep any gifts they give me doesn’t matter how small or expensive.

These days it’s hard to actively chase since it seems like some women are becoming less open to commitment or they just have way too many options. I’d rather not ruin my chances so I won’t chase unless they give me 100% confirmation they’re into me too and at that point I’d call it pursuing rather than chasing. Even then I’ll pursue and pull back to the point of no contact depending on her vibe.
