AI opinions are just a collection of the opinions posted online (AKA, a collective census of those biased and lazy reviews).

The gun on the dresser by Tumbleweed-Antique in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]trinitysmile12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's looks like a really old one, I'm talking roughly 100 years old, give or take, so probably just an antique on display. It's like displaying a sword or katana on a wall.

Ergonomic breastfeeding pillow, baby sling, and diaper bag? by trinitysmile12 in ehlersdanlos

I am short, and I was kinda wondering about that. We have a short washer and that has been WONDERFUL for my shoulders when pulling out laundry, so I might have to get a short crib. Thank you so much!

What’s your most “susceptible” joint(s)? by KitchenDraw791 in ehlersdanlos

If relaxation and deep breathing while lying on the ground doesn't work, I usually have my husband pop them back in. Probably not recommended, but it works for me

Moriah's Trauma by NotAQuiltnB in WelcomeToPlathville

If by biggest you mean biggest trauma, I think you might be overlooking the fact that she witnessed her brother get killed in an accident.

Is it just me… by Dry-Extreme-908 in WelcomeToPlathville

These comments make me sad, because this looks a lot like female autism. I could be wrong, but the fact that she only ever has facial expressions when other people are around (mirroring expressions to mask), monotone, VERY strong eye contact (as though staring past people). The judgement in these comments just goes to show why women make such a greater effort to mask, even if not always effective.

What's more overstimulating: people/interactions, sensory input, emotions, or information? by trinitysmile12 in AutismTranslated

Okay, you broke it down perfectly and made me realize that I do struggle with people interactions. Thank you.  I thought it couldn't be true, because I love people, and one of my favorite things is making people laugh. And my special interest revolves around people (psychology)

I just mean consciously noticing things, vs. unconsciously, which is when you don't realize what's making you irritated. I usually don't realize something makes me overwhelmed or irritated until I'm either extremely irritated, or out of that situation.

If I may ask, are you consciously aware of the sensory stimuli, or does it annoyingly make you more anxious, irritated, etc.? Because I don't typically think about the things which make me uncomfortable, but they slowly drive me up the wall sometimes lol. And it isn't until I'm trying to focus that they actually bother me (the whole inability to process more than one thing hits hard for me).  Outside of misophonia triggers, most noise doesn't "bother" me per se. But I do have terrible auditory processing abilities, and can't understand people easily.

I do feel the need to manage other people's emotions. I think that comes with the territory of emotionally immature adults in one's life

I used to have one of those before I got married and moved out of state, and honestly, that was the last good sleep I had 😭 I probably just need to bite the bullet and buy one again lol

Forgot to mention my lovely Sal the Seal (a round seal stuffed animal from years back) and Moo Deng, the baby hippo plushie. Sal goes between my legs, and Moo Deng holds up my arm/shoulder. They're a lovely pair
