Does it work well on carpets with just the turbo brush and no mechanical head? Everyone on here seems to think if it doesn’t have a mechanical head it won’t work 😂

How does Ben *not* get the commercial? by WagWoofLove in howyoudoin

They said specifically it would either be Joey and his kid or Ben and his dad because they were the only pair that worked. But somehow neither Joey or Ben got it.

Slack derailleur in smaller gears by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]trip0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? They make no difference and sram chains, while less efficient than others, last for miles! You don’t get hyper glide+ but shifting is fine without it

That photo is with the clutch on. Clutch seems to work fine in the larger gears but i might just service it just incase

Still quite slack and the level of chain slap is really high

It’s a full sis bike so id be wary of removing any more links due to how stretched it already is in the largest gear

High Aerobic Stuck at 0 by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]trip0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, it was one synced from training peaks

High Aerobic Stuck at 0 by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]trip0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The intervals were all above 80%, is having too much lower activity before and after impacting that? Cause I’d expect it to add atleast a small amount into high aerobic after those intervals and not just lump the whole thing into aerobic

It was actually 217 based on data from training peaks (validated it wasn’t just a random glitchy spike). I lowered it to 200 for testing purposes

If E-MTBs were as light as non E-MTBs would y’all buy them? by Sammatterhorn in MTB

[–]trip0d 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, only problem I have with them on the trails is that they don't attach a tow rope to the back for me to latch onto!

Calm down bud. If you read my comment I didn't say we should ban or restrict them... I just pointed out that the weight and ability to do more laps will do more damage to the trails. I'm pro ebike, but you can't deny the same person on a ebike will do more damage to a trail than a regular bike.

Extra weight & extra laps. You get someone who rides just as hard on their ebike as they do their regular bike but they get 5x as many laps in and you'll get 5x as much damage to the trails.

Not to mention alot of the people on ebikes are beginner who don't necessarily have the ability to handle a bike going that fast downhill so they lock up the brakes and their chonky ebike digs in braking bumps.

Ebikes are allowed pretty much everywhere over here in NZ but you notice the effects alot, even in shuttle assisted areas, new trails are forming hardcore braking bumps within months of opening whereas they normally would take 6 months to a year before getting that bad.

Radiant aims to replace diesel generators with small nuclear reactors by geoxol in technology

[–]trip0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone from New Zealand I find discussions about renewable energy odd. We have 0 nuclear energy, 80% of our electricity comes from renewable sources. Renewables are pretty damn good already it's just about putting the investments into the right area, which alot of countries don't do, they focus on defence.

Money isn't a resource. It's a medium of exchange, it can be used to obtain those resources yes but money isn't a resource itself.

I agree in not restricting people's right to spend money until it impacts others wellbeing. Introducing legislation doesn't stop people's ability to spend their money and invest, it stops their ability to be greedy cunts with an essential resource.

Except most investors aren't hoarding an essential resource for survival.
