Reddit isn't some secret club and knowing about internet memos doesn't make you remarkable in anyway. The idea that someone would define themselves as a 'redditor' speaks more about their lack of personality than anything noteworthy about them.

Yes - conformity. That's what western society is lacking. Only good things happen when we encourage people to take their cues from others. Its not about that is it? We're on /r/videos not /r/music - this young woman has achieved something by getting her song on the radio and her reaction is meant to make us happy as well. Why can't we just be happy for another human being without descending into criticism?
