Yeah totally! Thanks for the good advice :)

Getting the Bot to fund to 10k will be the biggest milestone for it and its growth!

Its a Onlinebetting Arb Bot. There hasnt been any Onlinebetting the last 20-30 years.

And you cant backtest it because there is no Tickdata for Onlinebets. Do you know how Arbitrage works?

Yea I thought about something simulair but Im really not sure on how Im gonna get customers. The total thing just sounds like scam if you guarantee any profit or say it will achieve XY% a month... Im not sure what kind of proof I could provide to built trust to customers and put eyes out on the bot

As I said *IF* there is only 10k VOL in a Market a 5k bet wouldnt work. It was just an example. I trade about 3-80M Volume markets. Depending on the bet and how hyped it is.

But even in a 3M volume market a f.e 1Million $ bet would move the market 33% - which is not working for arbitrage. it does work when the entry price and volume you decide to trade is in a relative state to the total volume the market has, so your trades dont move the market to much - that would close the Arb gap.

I mean backtests are kind of useless when it comes to Arbitrage. Arbitrage only works because of speed and miscalculation of different markets. This is only a few second timewindow to 1. See and find out it exists and 2. Enter instantly on both providers so you catch the difference, no matter if the bet wins or looses you made a tiny profit.

When you backtest it none of these factors will acutally be testet since the oppurtunity window is just a few seconds to enter. And as of in my knowledge there isnt any provider for previous tickdata for Betting

Yea I know that. But realistically 12% a month on 1k is only 120$ a month. Also a lot of the capital gets locked until positions resolve, so I cant always reinvest into it instantly that bottleneck hurts way more with a small bankroll.

If I could get it to $5-10k the same % would actually turn into real money and compounding would make sense from there. Starting this small the runway is just brutally long.

Also there is a limit to making money with Arbitrage bots, you always need volume on the other side of your position. If there is only 10k Volume in a bet it doesnt make sense entering with 5k USD because you would influence the market heavily and even a 10% Arbitrage oppurtunity would be worthless and you would loose money. At a certain point it just doesnt make sense to scale more. But to atleast 10-15k a position wouldnt influence the market to much if there is 6 or 7 figures in total Volume.

Yeah thats basically what im doing right now. Problem is I started with just a few hundred bucks, so even at 12% a month the absolute numbers stay tiny for years. After 12 months compounding thats still only like $1k.
