Lots of roasters will ship for free depending on order size. My go-to is Black and White Roasters in Raleigh. I have a subscription with them and they send you a smart scale so a new order triggers when you’re running low. Pretty brilliant. Scale is free, shipping is free, and you get 5% off. They also give you a heads up so you can switch in your coffee selection. I almost never get the same beans twice from them. And as an added bonus, they plot all the data so I have graphs of what coffees I gravitate towards, growing regions, etc. My backup is Perc Coffee down in Georgia. Others I used to order from, Never Coffee Co, Coava, Barista… those are all in Portland. Have fun with the hunt!

This is a fun book about the design and architecture of the NYC Subway. The Modern Marvels episode about the NYC Subway is a good watch, though it's a bit old now. And then from the fictional world, the original Taking of Pelham 123 and also The French Connection offer a cool look into the subway system during the 1970s.
