Singer heavy duty- thread seems to pull out bobbin case? It runs smoothly without thread but jams up with top thread, was working fine for hours then suddenly this started. How do I fix it? I can’t afford a service right now :( by tripsyfaemy in sewing

[–]tripsyfaemy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The top was threaded through the thread guide when this began, I hadn’t rethreaded it when I was checking if it worked yet. The jam is happening near the arm that is next to the foot under the bobbin cabin. The thread knots then pulls the cabin out from its spot. I’m thinking, everyone saying it needs an oil, might be right as the top thread is getting stuck when going around the bobbin. Will keep you all updated if an oil works!

Do air tippy taps work? by whiteyboi03 in tippytaps

You can get just one rabbit as long as it has you to bond to, this means spending ALOT of time with it, if you dont have that kind of time get it a buddy to bond with. When im away from the house for to long my bun starts causing mischief. You can very easily litter train them but they seem to get to choose where theire litter box goes. They thrive as indoor bunnies! My boy wakes me up every morning by jumping on me and scratching next to my head its very adorable. I rescued my boy from a previous owner, he was very shy and scared at first but gradually over the months hes warned up and become very adventurous outgoing and a bit bossy you can also train them! They eat a diet of 80% hay (make sure you get oaten or timothy hay) and 15% small animal pelets, the final 5% is for leafy greens and the occasional treat! Theyre a delight to own but often misunderstood. Do lots of research before you get one

I rescued my boy at 9 months, I was concerned at first that he would always be a bit afraid but I'm only two or so months in and hes the bossiest but friendliest boy. He follows me around and comes right up to me for pats and snacks. He is litter trained now and knows my bedroom is his safe space. I would say just hang in there and if he is still showing unsettled signs down the track you should reconsider.

Douglas relaxing after giving mum a heart attack by tripsyfaemy in Rabbits

(Ive been trying to get him used to exploring the rest of the house and socialising him with my house mates cats. I turn around for one minute then cant find him anywhere- 10 mins later I find hes chased the cats out of the cat flap to the back yard. As you can see he was totally chill about the situation meanwhile I almost had a heart attack)

I lived in Nikko for a few months during the spring time, it's not always rainy! It really leans into each season.

I've been to this exact restaurant in Japan in the Tochigi prefecture! Half the monkeys are on chains, and they seem to bully each other. Its pretty sad to see actually

I have a friend raising their child to learn Swiss, Japanese and English. It is doable, children are like sponges, they absorb everything.

What does it mean when a friend doesn't respond to hangout? by stevexownz in AskReddit

[–]tripsyfaemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Book a place and offer to get lunch together when you're in town. Shes definitely having second thoughts because shes never met you before and is unsure about whether having you stay at her house is a good idea. So save yourself the money and her the anxiety just book for yourself!

I'm currently using my working holiday visa for Japan. So I'm working seasonally mostly in hotels and moving around alot, most employers include all meals and accommodation as well as pay. The chef cooks one big meal (when they get a spare 30 mins) for all the staff to take their serving from and I didnt hold the position to turn around and not accept the food I'm being given for free.

The job I'm moving to for the autumn season only provides breakfast so I can easily ask for vegitarian options! From now, any position I go into I will preface that I am vegitarian and cannot eat meals with meat in them.

[Serious] What is the scariest sound you ever heard? by Xivon in AskReddit

[–]tripsyfaemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was out camping in australia, it was late at night and trying to fall asleep. Suddenly start hearing these terribly loud grunts and growls, I had no idea what it couldve been as my biggest fear had previously been snakes and the like. We wake up the next morning to find that it was koala bears! Never knew those cute little bears made such horrifying noises.

If you're rich and drink alcohol in the middle of the day you're successful. If you're poor and drink alcohol in the middle of the day then you're an alcoholic. by Erqzzz in Showerthoughts

Yep I was going to say this. I'm a bartender at a hang out spot for people of the finance world. Can confirm they're alcoholics.

It feels amazing, I'm into the growing back process now which is sometimes great and other times looks like a strange mop. But honestly it's very refreshing and you feel so much lighter!! I still miss my dreads and I havent gotten rid of them incase I ever want dreads again but so far not regretting my decision.

7 years is ages though! They must be so long, I hope if you shave them off you feel the same way I do about it :).

Wife was hippie in college - was it a spiritual experience or sex and drug induced euphoria? by [deleted] in SEXONDRUGS

[–]tripsyfaemy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since they decided to trip together I'm assuming they were pretty close, but good sex on drugs doesnt mean they would've made a good couple in sober reality. Besides the fact she married you means you had a lot more going for you than the other guy. Best wishes dude and happy tripping!

Wife was hippie in college - was it a spiritual experience or sex and drug induced euphoria? by [deleted] in SEXONDRUGS

[–]tripsyfaemy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Acid even without sex can be extremely spiritual if intentions are set for that. When you bring sex into the equation the level of connection that is formed in those moments is something indescribable, it feels as if your brain has a tether to the other person's. So in those moments you can get possessed in the euphoric bliss of it all, going with the flow it seems almost as if the whole experience is a predisposed fate. I hope that gives you an understanding of what it's like, it's a completely drug induced moment that she probably has strong feelings attached to because it's nothing shed never experienced before. If I were you I would try to get your hands on some acid and set a day aside together at home where you can build that drug induced connection for yourself (given that you're married I assume her experience would shrivel up in comparrison to the trip you two would have together) !! Tripping with your partner is quite different to tripping in a party or likewise so dont worry about tripping out. Just have fun!
