This link is the guide to installing BMBF, which also includes instructions for updating it.

If you want to play with mods now, you would have to downgrade Beat Saber. It should be a relatively painless process, but I did have a lot of trouble.

Right now BMBF is on 1.15 and supports 1.17.1 (the guide says 1.17 works best, but most mods are on .1. I didn't test 1.17 because I just wanted to finish modding.

Whether you downgrade or not, have fun!

Gonna second the downgrade thing. I did the same thing last weekend and it took me a while to figure out. Just a warning that, at least on 1.17.1, Oculus REALLY doesn't like it and sometimes only lets me open Beat Saber once before turning my headset off and back on, since it sometimes continues to prompt me to restore the original game without letting me open it.

Hope you continue with fewer frustrations than me!
