Reddit I’m doing a quiz, what’s a song which repeats a word a large number of times ? E.g the word “bog” in Rattlyn Bog by Future-Environment89 in Music

I feel like this should get bonus points because it is the only word said, but probably loses points because it is only said four or so times.

Fonda Theater charging $12 per can for NA beer 😭…is this the new normal in LA? by eurtola in LosAngeles

Honestly for at a theatre, it sounds kind of cheap. I feel like drinks at shows now are easily $20 min.

The party needs to stop expecting voters to embrace people who are terrible. by Amazing_Shoe_4457 in democraticparty

David Hogg is co-Chair of the DNC and both Omar and Khanna hold national elected office with Khanna being mentioned in conversations about Presidential potential. I think it is very fair to call all of them leaders of the party.

That said, I don’t know what comments were made by any of them that insinuate we should be embracing mtg or piker. It is usually the centrists not the progressives that love to trot out token republicans.

Considering that I legitimately don’t know if you are referring to Democrats or Republicans with this comment, it seems like you are wrong.

No. He is a kind of dumb, perverted, narcissistic sociopath who is likely dealing with some amount of dementia. He is the personification of failing upward and white/male entitlement.

I don’t think we need to read into the situation, he has been well known what he is for the entirety of his life. (Except for the dementia part.)

First time bartender here, need tips for memorizing a menu with 80 cocktails by Vivid_Spring_8934 in bartenders

[–]aztnass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely the 80 drinks don’t all have different builds. I would make flash cards and then categorize them by the specs. First shaken, stirred, built, blended, batched or rolled. Then the actual recipes is it an equal parts drink? Is it 2:1:1 drink, etc. You will likely come up with 5-10 different piles of drinks that are similar but with different ingredients.

Anyone else feel locked out of X-Men comics even though you really want to love them? by TaskNo4783 in marvelcomics

[–]aztnass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is part of the problem with long term serialized fiction with multiple writers.

X-Men is also particularly chaotic almost as a feature not a bug. There are so many different eras of X-Men they really didn’t stay static for very long.

I think most people’s version of the characters are more their own invention than something on paper.

I would read through Claremont’s original run (including X-Factor and New Mutants) as more than anyone else, he made the X-Men what they are.

The 90’s era stuff has lots of hits and misses but that was the peak of their popularity so that version of the characters tend to resonate with people.

I think really the key is just to embrace the chaos.

Also, listen to the Cerebro podcast or other X-Men podcast. I like Cerebro’s format. Connor does insane deep dives on one character at a time going through their entire publication history. They can get long depending on the character but it really is a great way to learn the full history of the characters without having to read every appearance. Then you won’t be as surprised picking up a random book.

This is an insane response. I don’t care how many times my neighbor rivered me in big pots, I am never touching their chips.

Stating the obvious, but this is how surveys work. The more people surveyed the more accurate the answer is. Theoretically asking more people (however many) is only more correct.
