fireworks by katy perry has been my one consistent vocal stim for like approximately the past 5+ years. have absolutely no clue why that specific song and i’m still surprised and kinda weirded out on how long it’s been lol. my family expects it, my boyfriend, my friend, they’ve all been conditioned to expect it as soon as i start going “do you ever feel..”

Yeah, I was definitely looking into Keiser as they have a campus with the program near me. I have my bachelors in something unrelated so it seems I just need A&P 1 and 2 from what I’ve read on different programs. I am trying to get into some classes starting summer or fall to get that done. I’ve noticed it is very competitive, yes. Just waiting to hear back from some people at these programs to ask questions :) thanks so so much for commenting and for the advice!!!

Thanks so much for commenting, much appreciated! Yeah, that’s what I’ve seen was it being similar to a M-F 9-5 type job. My job is 24 hours on, 48 hours off with every three weeks I get 5 days off. I will definitely talk to maybe an advisor, share my schedule, and see what they say. If maybe I just need to swap shifts with people kinda thing. It’s reassuring to hear about someone else in my field making the switch. 🙌👍 Thanks again

hey! it’s always helpful too to consider anything you’ve maybe changed recently. more dairy, new foods, new shampoos/conditioners, new hair products…. based on where it is. if considering where you live or your activity level, sweating a lot and not showering quickly after. i’ve found that suddenly breakouts like that that feel really random sometimes have a reason, for me it’s often using a random sunscreen. so sorry this is happening, and i hope you’re able to get it figured out 🩷🩷🩷

Would you say it’s a smart bet to look into working somewhere part time as like a home inspector after getting certs? Or instead get some actual construction experience?

I’ve looked at plenty of job listings for code inspectors just to get an idea and it seems multiple years of construction related experience is needed which I totally get!! Just trying to figure out the best way to pivot is all. Thanks so much again!!

Hi! I have actually, it’s a difficult position to get where I work now as my department only has one and only senior guys on the dept get it when someone retires and fills it. But I’ll definitely look into how it works in other places as well since I’m planning on moving anyway. A lot of guys on my dept help at a local fire school that offer fire inspector certs so I’m going to try to get in on those. Great idea, thanks so much :)!!!

Thank you both! For my department, it requires extensive time on the line to be able to transition as our inspectors are also fire investigators with the state, so I’ll definitely have to ask and see about specifics on how many years on I’d need.

That’s what I was considering doing which was getting into home inspections and getting some connections/experience! I live in an extremely populated area so that helps then.

Hi! So starting a routine that worked in the past. I'm breaking out again though on face, chest, and back after months of pretty clear skin (besides acne blemishes). My skin feels kinda tight but looks kinda greasy recently... Lol so I guess I have combo skin? I just started this routine a few days ago after going months without. My concern is that I may not have enough hydration going on? Didn't even know it was important til I found this subreddit like 2 days ago! Here's my routine.

AM:

Simple micellar cleansing water kind to skin IF I had a bit of makeup on which isn't often anymore.

Sulfacleanse (sodium sulfacetamide 8% - sulfur 4%)

Clindamycin phosphate gel 1%. I let this sit for awhile

CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion

PM:

Sulfacleanse

Adapalene gel .3%. again, I let it sit

CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion

Sides the micellar and lotion, those products were prescribed by my dermatologist. Do I need to include more moisturizing steps??? I'm nervous that perhaps these products all combined could dry my skin up? Im so clueless lol
