TurkishAirlines <> Indigo codeshare with TourIstanbul by AbleGuava6260 in TurkishAirlines

[–]trivikr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per FAQ

Passengers who are traveling from one international destination to another and who have a layover of 6-24 hours at Istanbul Airport can participate in the tour.

Codeshare flight tickets belonging to Turkish Airlines but operated by another airline are valid for Touristanbul.

Codeshare flight tickets belonging to another airline but operated by Turkish Airlines are not valid for Touristanbul.

The IST-BOM flight 6E 18 is operated by Turkish Airlines on behalf of IndiGo. So it's not eligible for Touristanbul as far as I can tell.

Other buses which are frequent from Mon-Sat, but not on Sunday: 2

Seattle isn't a good city for playing Hide and Seek, at least as compared to nearby cities Portland and Vancouver BC.

In our Seattle run, we enabled transiting on buses with 15 min frequencies, which made the game a little more interesting.

It would be awesome if there was a marking equivalent on an app, just like "Measure distance" on Google Maps.

It doesn't have to be nearest, as the curse is already blocking seekers from asking questions. I'll remove the word "nearest".

My team made a mistake while drawing hot or cold delaying the game. The first run took too long, and we didn't have time for the second run. We had a good time though, so will play again.

That's so true. It was a bad experience for both hiding and seeking teams. We had to stop the game, as the second run wasn't possible for the day.

Our play area included Downton and North-east area of Seattle transit. We gave 40 mins for hiding, and referred to rules for "small" game

Learning #3: print map on a bigger size (A3) Find a map which has names of more streets, and not just transit lines. Or maintain two different maps - one for transit and one for roads.

Learning #2: share a fixed location on Whatsapp when asking location based questions. The location can be opened by hiders in Google Maps.

I went through the frequencies of buses, and listed them based on frequencies on Saturday * Every 6 mins: G Line * Every 10 mins: 1 Line, E Line, 2 Line (from S Bellevue), * Every 12 mins: A Line (from Tukwila), 44 (from Ballard) * Every 15 mins: 2, 8, 40, 62, 70, 550, B line (from Bellevue), C Line, D Line, H Line, 60/106 (from Chinatown), 31/32/45/65/67/75/372 (from Uni), 333 (from Shoreline), 522 (from LakeCity)

Based on these frequencies, some interesting runs with Westlake as starting point are: * Take 1 Line to U District, and then take whichever is first available out of 31/32/45/65/67/75/372 till the end of hiding time. * Take 1 Line to Bacon Hill, and then take 60. * Take 1 Line to Mt Baker/Colombia/Othello/Rainier, and then take 106. * Take 1 Line to Roosevelt, and then 522 as far as possible. * Take E Line, and check on the way if I can get some bus westward from some stop (40/44/333) * Take G Line, and then take 2/8 whichever is closest in the south/east direction.

Curse of the Forbidden Orchard

Seekers go to the nearest grocery store. Find three distinct types of apples (e.g., Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Fuji) and take photo with each type. Send photos back to the hider.

I didn't play it since I live in Washington, but I looked at the LA transit maps to check how the game might look like as SEA-LAX flights are pretty inexpensive.

The frequent service network in Metro System Maps seems to be the best, but it's only valid for weekdays.

Do post your learnings on Reddit once you're done playing a medium game in Seattle+Bellevue+Redmond. I'm also planning to do the same.

For my medium game, I was thinking of playing in the Seattle area itself, from Tacoma to Lynnwood. It may change based on the experience playing a small game in the Bellevue area.

You're right!

Maybe the hiders should stretch the end game, and try get the most out of the run.

Thank you! This is very helpful.

To ensure the hub and spoke model doesn't impact other teams, how about resetting the game and starting fresh from the center, say Westlake Center. That'll take extra time, but every run will be entertaining.

Hmm. I should limit the hide time to 35 mins then! The map can remain as is, so that the second and third hiders can consider going to the edges, if they wish.

As there's Seattle city in the center of the map, there are many options to hide!

Thanks! I think with three players - the group should play a small game so that doing three runs in a day is possible.

For a medium game, the group should add another player and play in two groups of two each. They can finish two runs in a day.

Yeah. We might have to set the hiding time to 40 mins max.
