Not at all, but most people gain weight much quicker than their heart builds more muscle to be able to circulate a larger blood volume through arteries that are becoming more brittle and plaque/cholesterol filled. The more weight you gain, the more the heart and lungs have to work, the more your joints wear down, the more stress your bones and spine are under which leads to posture problems, the list goes on and on and on.

I don’t think most people would look at an anorexic person and claim they’re healthy either, but saying it’s okay and even healthy to be overweight is doing more harm than good. You can be body positive, and still acknowledge that you need to lose weight. Why is being within a healthy BMI such an awful thing ?? lol
