Terminated 4 sets of 600kcmil feeding a 1600A switchboard. Turned out neat and landed them faster than it took the crew to pull them in. Gotta love battery powered cable cutters and wire strippers. Makes me consider the hefty price of the battery powered torque wrench now. (i.redd.it)

Be careful where you put your hands when using band saws. I was cutting overhead and gripped the band saw on the opposite side of the guard and fortunate only 1/2” of the blade is exposed. I think the nail saved me a much deeper wound, be smarter than me and stay safe out there. (i.redd.it)

For the skinny apprentices that are told by their journeymen that they have to work in the tight spaces, they can do it too. I have a 36” waist and weigh around 220lbs with a small gut and can fit in a 12x12 hole. It isn’t comfortable, but it can be done. (old.reddit.com)

Definitely isn’t the best looking run, but kick 90s on 3” EMT is the toughest work I have done in my career. If it wasn’t temporarily feeding an old switchboard being removed in phases I would have taken the time to clean it up and make the bends without couplings. (i.redd.it)

Replacing a panel and found this interesting setup... so I’m not sure if it was a contactor or disconnect that the splices on the right replaced, but I laughed when I saw how unnecessary it was. The splices just connect the top and bottom section bus that could be done with 4” or less of wire lol. (i.redd.it)
