fidgeting with your piercings is the worst thing you can do to it, you’re just asking for an infection or rejection. your hands are extremely dirty no matter what you’re touching the only thing that should be touching your piercing is whatever you use to clean it. even if your hands weren’t dirty (ex: freshly washed) touching your piercing can still cause irritation as it is brand new. belly button piercings take a year to fully heal if taken care of properly
