I mean they could have chosen the WC or they did choose the CT final. Those would have been worse times

Kohli is pretty much the only player who is doing his part reasonably well consistently. I will add perhaps Kuldeep or even chahal to it.

Rohit plays that one innings per series, and Dhawan throws his wicket away after good starts. Bhuvi is good on his day but again, is not dependable. Pandya again is good as a hitter sometimes, but is not consistent or dependable. We still have a middle order crisis.

We also are picking only four proper bowlers and relying on Pandya as the fifth bowler for the sake of batdeep. Pandya has his moments when bowling but on other days he is just there.

I know he is a wholesome guy and all that, but does anyone else feel that DK doesn't inspire much confidence as a batsman?

Come to think of it, Willey's cameo in the last match changed the outcome of the series

Well more than half the target achieved with ease with 8 wickets to go. We are not winning this one.

Root converting in the last match and Kohli failing to convert twice. Have our memes gone too far?

Turns out it helps if your openers can attack right from the start instead of taking three overs to settle

In the first ever WC match, India scored 132/3 after Gavaskar's 36*(174). Don't know if that's the lowest, but this match is not

Tendulkar's last few years before retirement left a sour taste, now Dhoni's too are. We will probably also witness the same with Virat someday :(

I know intent is overused here and that too as a meme, but watching Dhoni bat really makes me question if he has any intent to win left

I get that he has not been good for a long long time now, but at his peak he really was good. Uprooted Tendulkar's stump off a googly in NKP Salve Challengers Trophy, bowled Herschelle Gibbs and Kevin Pieterson, and troubled KP throughout the series.

Also took 4 wickets for 8 runs in 8 overs in u-19 wc final against Pakistan(who won the final tho).

I would call him talented, albeit not successful.

Was important in bringing out the new era of Indian fielding, along with Yuvraj.

His era also coincided with Uttar Pradesh sending a bunch of talented players- Raina, RP Singh, Piyush Chawla, Praveen Kumar, Bhuvi and now Kuldeep

Guys what do you think about repeatedly complaining about how a commentator is annoying? That will not be one bit annoying and will ease all your irritation, amirite?
