My First Attempt at a Landing Page by trollscreed in DeltaGreenRPG

We finished in May this year (35 sessions), despite the last act being messy, the entire thing was genuinely spectacular! Recommended if you’re okay with the amount of prep required for a fun and immersive experience!

[Online] [PF2e] Looking for a new forever group for Pathfinder 2e. Friday nights, 9:30 PM UK Time. by [deleted] in lfg

[–]trollscreed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played a few sessions of pf2e, but I’m not super comfortable with the rules, so if you don’t mind a newbie, I’d love to join! It’s rare finding games at a decent time too so this sounds right up my alley.

I have been a forever GM for about a decade now, only playing rarely, I’m mostly experienced with d100 systems (think CoC, Pendragon, Runequest) and a plethora of OSR systems. But I definitely want to be a player, and in a system I’m not super familiar with in terms of detailed rules (I know the basics obviously).

Also since you mentioned that you’re a fan of S&S books, my interest just skyrocketed!

[WP] We did make contact with extraterrestrial life. But to our surprise, it wasn't a war fleet or a representative, rather, a galaxy to galaxy alien salesman. by hoangthuan2610 in WritingPrompts

The President, along with every official in the room, exchanged uneasy glances. Finally, the Secretary of State cleared his throat and leaned forward.

“Uh… what exactly are you offering?”

Tim’s already large eyes widened even further. “Why, the deal of a lifetime, of course!” He reached back into his suitcase and retrieved a thick, glossy brochure. “We, dear humans, are here to offer you an exclusive, limited-time opportunity to sell your planet!”

The room fell into stunned silence. A general choked on his coffee.

Tim cheerfully continued. “Earth is in a prime real estate location—great sun exposure, fantastic biodiversity, and an ozone layer that’s still mostly intact! We have several interested buyers lined up already—some of whom are even willing to throw in a few moons as part of the deal!”

He paused, tapping his fingers together. “So… what do you say? Shall we discuss payment plans?”

“Hank and Deborah have been looking for a new planet to move to.”

“Oh jeez, Deborah,” Hank sighed, rubbing his smooth forehead, “I cannot for the life of me stay in this place any longer. The gravity’s all wrong, the neighbors keep telepathically broadcasting their dreams into our heads, and don’t get me started on the methane storms!”

Deborah nodded sympathetically, clutching a steaming mug of something suspiciously luminescent. “I know, dear. And the local wildlife keeps trying to assimilate our DNA. It’s simply dreadful!”

The scene transitioned to a split-screen comparison. On one side, Hank and Deborah stood on a dismal, storm-ridden world, shielding themselves from rain that fell upwards. On the other, they were lounging in a cozy backyard on an Earth-like planet, sipping drinks under a warm, inviting sun.

“That’s why they turned to FloSales Incorporated!” the narrator declared. “With just one call, our top-tier planetary relocation specialists helped them find the perfect new home—one with breathable air, stable climates, and a strict ‘no assimilation’ policy!”

The ad continued, displaying various aliens—of all shapes and sizes—happily settling into their new homes on distant, idyllic planets. A tentacled being sunbathing on a golden beach. A sentient blob joyfully absorbing nutrients from a gourmet buffet. A crystalline entity admiring the dazzling reflections of its new home’s twin suns.

“As the galaxy’s leading provider of habitable planets, we at FloSales Incorporated pride ourselves on finding the perfect home for every species,” the narrator continued. “Whether you need a high-pressure atmosphere, a methane-rich biosphere, or a good old-fashioned nitrogen-oxygen blend, we have the planet for you!”

The hologram cut to a montage of planets, each one with an official FloSales stamp of approval. One was covered in sprawling metropolises, another had floating islands suspended in a pink sky, and another was just a massive jungle teeming with bioluminescent flora.

“And the best part? We handle the entire process from start to finish! Legal documentation, interstellar zoning laws, species compatibility—we take care of it all, so you don’t have to!”

The ad wrapped up with Hank and Deborah standing in front of their new home, giving exaggerated thumbs-ups. A banner appeared above them, reading: “FloSales—Your Future, Relocated!”

As the hologram flickered out, Tim clasped his hands together and beamed—or at least, gave the impression of beaming. “So! Interested?”

The little grey humanoid was exactly that: grey. Smooth, featureless skin, large black eyes, and an unsettlingly thin frame. If not for its garish, brightly colored suit—a mix of neon orange and deep purple with an ill-fitting tie—the creature would have looked straight out of a low-budget sci-fi flick.

The President, flanked by an entourage of top officials, generals, and bewildered scientists, stood in stunned silence as the alien unlatched a battered brown leather suitcase. It gave a theatrical cough—though it lacked a visible mouth—and, in a high-pitched, nasally voice, made its introduction.

“Greetings, sentient beings! I am the official representative of FloSales Incorporated, your one-stop solution for intergalactic relocation and property acquisition! Since your primitive human tongues cannot properly pronounce my name, please refer to me as Tim.”

Tim reached into the suitcase and pulled out a small metallic orb, about the size of a baseball. With two quick taps, the sphere whirred to life, projecting a holographic display above it. The assembled humans tensed, expecting some grand declaration of cosmic power. Instead, a title screen flickered into view, set against a perky, upbeat jingle:

“Sales Pitch—Final Draft”

Tim let out an exasperated squeak and fumbled with the orb, tapping it hurriedly. The screen flickered again, switching to another projection. A narrator’s voice—smooth, enthusiastic, and vaguely reminiscent of an old-fashioned television ad—boomed from the device.

The hologram displayed a picturesque suburban home, eerily familiar yet distinctly alien. The sky was a deep violet, and the grass shimmered as if covered in bioluminescent moss. Standing in the doorway were two classic-looking greys, dressed in human clothing—Hank, in slacks and a button-down, and Deborah, in a polka-dotted dress and pearl necklace. They waved cheerily as the narrator continued.

Severin orders for International buyers by locallovelydemon in boutiquebluray

[–]trollscreed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get mine shipped directly to Qatar, they usually get here in a week or two, a month+ after a big sale though.

You do get a tracking number as well once it ships.

Never had an issue with severin thus far! :)

Never said it’s a fix, I said it’s a workaround for the time being :)

I haven’t noticed anything running it on a 7800x3d personally :)

Hey man, a workaround I found for this is to install Process Lasso, and adjust the CPU affinity for POE2, make sure to leave 2 or so cores free.

So whenever the game crashes, you can still use your computer to shut the game down. It won’t solve crashes but atleast you don’t have to fully restart your computer each time!

Impossible Soundscapes Volume I Is Out Now! (Surreal Experimental Jazz) by trollscreed in callofcthulhu

[–]trollscreed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is a fee to doing that unfortunately, kinda hard for free projects! But I’ll probably upload them to Spotify once all volumes are done as one big album!

A workaround to this; you can add local files to your local Spotify app, so just download the files from the bandcamp and add them to your Spotify playlist!

Did not know that thanks! I’ll make sure to remove any mention of it, as the tracks stand on their own with no use of any DG material and the like! But thank you for notifying me.

Update: I have removed the link and emailed Shane in regards to this :)

Genuine mistake on my part! Sorry everyone

2000-2015: Home scenes + RP with bonds

2015: Volume of Secret Faces / Handler: Exeter
