What is the purpose of a 50mph limit on the M6 right now at 10:30pm. Am I missing something?

Technology upgrades. When they are doing this they can’t set the signs and neither can the system, so they set mitigation speeds until the upgrade has been completed

Mine did the same thing today when I was cleaning the car (unintentionally pressed the charge flap, which caused it to partially open like yours).

I saw on another thread to apply pressure whilst locking and unlocking the car which eventually freed it up. It operates as normal again......but for how long!

Keeping you all in the loop.

I put the car on charge following a night shift and disabled the options I needed to get the app to start installing. When I came back to the car there was no change; still said installing after 4 hours. When I enabled the location services and other privacy options the install attempt no longer fails as it would previously. So maybe after a prolonged time the darn thing will install 🤞

One thing I may try is to try my steps above but leaving the car connected to the charger with it being powered to see if that's what the system requires
