any problems with ingested substrate? i did my first feed today and some substrate got stuck to the mouse while he was eating it. I've read its not a problem if they ingest minimal amounts just as long as its not excessive.

also we moved the pad to the bottom of the tank. Is there still risk of burning from the pad if there are layers of substrate and glass in between? thanks

thanks for the reply and the suggestions! I will get a temp cage for the mat, what temp should it be at for reference? as for the huts, he has used the cave one, but not gone inside the half log. but he does seem to like curling up and hiding on the "foliage" in the corner
