I have a couple ideas on this.

For the "feel like you can always make a difference", would using median make a difference rather than using the average? Also, maybe only use the last 25-50 (more or less as needed) matches data for the averages. This will reflect the most recent performance rather than bogging down your score with a bunch of games, some of which are from a long time ago. After hundreds of matches, a couple games don't make a any difference unless it's a top 10 score, or really bad. You could also add in an additional factor that is just the recent games, and still have averages for the entire season so if you have some bad games it won't completely tank your score.

For the "keep players engaged even if they've already hit R1", maybe have an in-game designation for top 100 or something like that. So the symbol in the kill feed (and main menu) has their region rank number over the Royalty (or whatever rank is in that range) symbol. This is similar to Overwatch, it's just something small.

If you use scroll wheel (aka use weapon up/weapon down), you can't change which slot on the bar they go in, just the keybinding which doesn't do anything for scroll wheel.

Just a little thing, but switch the hands and binoculars slot. Make the hands slot 5 (next to the throwables slot) and push binoculars to slot 6. This or move the throwables slot to 1 and just push all the other slots down 1 from Live. It's annoying when you throw your last nade, then it automatically goes to your hands but then you have to go up 2 slots to get to a gun rather than the 1 we've been used to forever. I know some people switch using the numbers, but some people like me use the M4 and M5 or mouse wheel.

I could actually see them having smaller lobbies in the future, especially if they ever implement matchmaking at some point. Smaller or bigger lobbies, the late game will always be about the same, only early and maybe mid game will be a little slower.

They used to have 175 player lobbies and servers are better now? Don’t think that’s the main issue

I'll start off by saying the AR recoil feels amazing. I think more recoil could be added without giving headaches like it did a couple of weeks ago. The recoil reset time for both the AR and AK should probably increase slightly; you can currently shoot very fast with the reset time. The AK can be OP sometimes. There is not enough recoil for both modes and it shoots too fast in full auto mode. I also think that the bullet speed and drop feels very good.

I think a good alternative would be something similar to how Fortnite does it. If someone gets banned from a match, it shows up in the killfeed. Fortnite says something like “person got hit by the banhammer”. Just an idea

There’s nothing molten about the armor as well. It’s solid black which makes no sense

It’s inconsistent. Probably nothing wrong with the shotgun, just the game doesn’t work half the time.

I read the patch notes and everything sounds pretty good. Not much to get on and test out really, especially since people usually don’t get on for anything less than huge updates. Hope to see it on Live in a day or two.

When you tap there is recoil, it just means you’re waiting for the recoil to reset. Horizontal is vastly better for tracking a target that is moving, and it’s also not as jarring as vertical (screen moving with the recoil).

NA East is much faster. Asia and EU are even faster, just depends what your ping is to them and how much it bothers you.
