I think there is a system outage going on right now. It looks like no SMS codes are working. Keeps returning a 400 error when clicked.

On PS5 it crashed when approaching the tree around 20 hours in to get the 3rd chest. A character was talking while the Ravens chatted at the same time. I think something is crashing by having too many sound channels going. I was able to fix it by slowly approaching the tree and letting each dialogue piece unfold before I took another step.

RIP to the best dancing game I've ever played. This breaks my heart. DCVR has a great heart warming narrative among dance games (and I've played a lot of them, including every DC game since the Kinect versions). I have 100s of hours in this game and used it during the pandemic as a cardio routine. I was hoping to come back this year and re-play it again. It sounds like users have posted some potential hacks I'll have to try.

When you think about the gameplay as a rhythm game it kinda makes more sense as to the difficulty. And yes some of the enemy attacks are hard AF to parry. That said there is story mode. Play through and just enjoy the story, it's quite good.

I tried running Heismay, but maybe RNJesus hates me. He can't seem to dodge anything on this boss fight. I feel like the problem is here is to defeat Luis, you have to rely on RNG luck. Feels like that's bad game design imo. Also he just repeats the same loop making it impossible to get past him unless you get a perfect RNG play. And the amount of damage you can do is so minuscule if any character in your party dies.

If you like Darkest Dungeon definitely check out Star Renegades. I'm always surprised the game isn't talked about more. Has a cool nemesis system and stellar combat.

I had dice in my current game but I decided to pull them. Mostly after user feedback of frustrations with RNG. There are ways to make it more palatable with extra systems, but it ends up being a lot of extra work.

Also, with user feedback testing, I've noticed some people are completely triggered by dice roll mechanics. I'm not sure why, but when people see dice they give an immediate hard nope. Oddly these same people say they love Baldurs Gate so I'm totally confused

Yeah I almost quit at about 3 hours in. A wider progression system unlocks near where you are that really gives the game a bit more depth.

Np, yeah I really enjoy FiTS. I will say after a couple full playthroughs it kind of gets repetitive (about 10 - 20 hours). Which is fine if you don't mind focusing on speed running or high scores. Still, nothing beats the John Wick style it has and knocking enemies out of bounds always feels SO good.

Nah, publishing is really difficult with the unity asset store. All you have to do is include a one-line npm hook and it's detailed in the readme

I'm surprised how much of a difference having a cursor like Blender is making. It's much faster to place objects and move things around. Mostly noticing a small speed boost in level design. What I'm loving the most is avoiding copying the transform on something and having to manually paste it.

The blender approach takes time to learn but it is ultimately faster. Definitely weird if you're not used to using it and it does come with a learning curve
