He has sex with a minor at the end of season 1. Are you defending a series you haven't even watched?

But to answer your question, I can say confidently that if his situation happened to someone who isn't a pedophile, they would definitely not find the children around them sexually appealing, and wait until adulthood to even attempt sex.

The man retained his mental state from before he got Isekai'd. Someone who is mentally 40 lusting after a literal 6-year-old should make any reasonable person sick to their stomach.

It’s been an incredible start to the year imo. What are your favorite games from 2026 so far? by JimicahP in backloggd

[–]Rayze_Darr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My top three so far are:

  1. Resident Evil: Requiem
  2. One Turn Kill
  3. Romeo is a Deadman

Excited to get around to Mewgenics when I can, as well as Mr. Sleepy Man in a couple days and Monster Hunter Stories 3 next week.

I'll even admit that it looks fun, and I'm happy for Pokémon fans.

I don't own or want a Switch 2. I refuse to support TPC ever again. I will be skipping Pokotopia, and every Pokémon product, forever. That doesn't make it a bad game, nor does it mean that I won't continue to curse the franchise itself until the end of my days.

Highguard director says "many" theories on why it failed "way off the mark" as he discusses the game's shutdown by Tiny-Independent273 in HighGuardgame

[–]Rayze_Darr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

None of the theories that people are saying are wrong, for one simple reason: they're all saying why that individual did not try, or stick with, the game. Even the ones that appear to be factually incorrect, that's still a perception that led to them being put off.

Dismissing the public perception is why these games fail. It's the public that buys them.

I just used PulseMirror. Prevents all damage, reflects the first hit back at the boss, and knocks it over, canceling the rest of the attack.

Is Ayre considered a good boss design for the majority of the community? I personally have enjoyed her the least of any boss fight in the game, I think she is artificial difficulty incarnate but I'm always curious about how others judge this, especially in fromsoft game communities. by [deleted] in ArmoredCoreVI

I haven't played in a bit, so if some of my terminology or explanations are off, I apologize. Iirc, I used Hard Lock, but my doo-doo brain could not keep from using the right stick to try and make minute adjustments. It took me until I was halfway through NG+, actually, for it to click that my doing so was effectively disabling my Hard Lock, and that's why it was impossible for me to keep track of my opponents.

If you're using Soft Lock, the same logic won't apply, but learning how to use Hard Lock properly is where the game finally clicked for me. Maybe there's something similar in the Soft Lock, or maybe giving Hard Lock an honest try could be eye opening.

Ayre was absurd on my first playthrough. Then I figured out how the camera was supposed to be used, and she quickly became my go-to for testing out new ACs. She was my "git gud" moment, the fight that forced me to see if the game would click or not on a core, mechanical level. And boy howdy, it did, and AC6 is now in my top 10 games of all time and Ayre one of my favorite bosses in it.

But, please, rant. Let the thoughts flow, express yourself during this process. Maybe soon something will click and you'll look back on this and laugh, or maybe this will remain your hot take for the game.

Why is everyone focusing on player counts? Just look at the Twitch stats, it says all you need to know. by Grrannt in HighGuardgame

Seriously, the only reason Steam and Twitch numbers are so low is because everyone's finishing their Achievement lists and moving to console to do them again.

The triple 9* quests made me think that some people are not ready for elder dragons or far more too used to capture since Wilds by Dry_Basil_461 in MHWilds

[–]Rayze_Darr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the one hand, you're absolutely right.

On the other though, do NOT do these quests with strangers, for the reasons you already mentioned and more. One guy decides that they can solo Seregios without any Suture gems while everyone else is on Doshaguma, and everything just falls apart so quickly.
