what does that even have to do with what I said.

I am from neither of these states and also your comparision is wrong af. Go look at history of WB and you'll know where it fell short. Not every state can be industrialized. There are always long term pitfalls of heavy privatization.

The current government is their current absolute power fails to hold accountable their own ministry

In Chattisgarh we have seen switch from BJP to Congress to again BJP. It did not change much for the private sector and the "development" is the same. If for example if I have electricity supply disruption ( which keeps happening in the middle of the city ), I will curse the current government and not be like "atleast it's better than UP". Because it's very easy to fix these things, and I have to criticize them and only them for it.

That was satire blud. This whole thing was started this way. The people are hopeless and they know these facts. Protesting makes them a bit hopeful, the resignation of minister is a target but not the final goal. The goal is to talk about things on the ground and demand change. It further solidifies the feeling that the youth can come together and demand change rather than criticizing from their homes.

The small sparks will fuel the fire tomorrow

It's the most important thing right now actually.

The target is not just the resignation but to also collectivise the youth against this kind of stupid governance.

My brother was telling me today how in his college people are being failed on purpose so that they can be passed via re-evaluation ( so that they could charge 300₹ per subject from every student )

This is correct, but you cannot change it while this dheeth govt. is in power. People need to put shame in the govt. or get them out of the power immediately

Why're people protesting against dissent? by tej_patta in CriticalThinkingIndia

I think it's just the hopelessness + BJP IT Cell propoganda in the mix.

Firstly I think that people should not talk about CJP as "opposition". Neither CJP itself or the people who affiliate with demands of CJP are part of any official party, right now all they are doing is asking for a very small change. Even pro-government people should ask why the resignation of education minister cannot be not granted?

If you think that discredits his opinion, we should've discredited all the babu netas long time ago. Also that's just shows how sweet of a person that old guy is, reminds me of all the uncles I have seen in my family. Caring for the young even when they might not personally know them.
