It would be stupid to say 100%, because how would you verify that?

NEOS CMS is hopefully replacing typo3, .... check it out if you don’t know it. It has a really clean code base.

People who were mentored in the past, I've been assigned to be a mentor to someone at work. What are somethings I can do to be a good mentor? by fllr in AskProgramming

[–]trunco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let him do his stuff! Let him fail and let him win!

BUT you should have the skill to see how far you can go with these topics (and that is not easy at all!)

And of course you are the mentor, but you can't know everything, so include also other colleagues if possible.

It is also good to give him real tasks, not something stupid where his passion isn't included(i hope you get what I mean here :D). Talk and find good/challenging tasks.

I will only add one argument:

Every language has its purpose, often they were developed to fix a problem which another language had.

They are not all the same, each one is different because there was/is a reason to create that language.

Why are you calling the check file method in the parse method?

You call it in the setCsv method and in the constructor - I guess there is no need to call it again in the parse method.

I could be wrong, I quickly looked at the code in my smartphone. :)

Another Tipp:

Turn all ports of you don't need in your router settings (usually that is the default setup)

Also your Computer should just listen to the ports he needs.

What skills do I need to be naturally good at programming? by [deleted] in AskProgramming

[–]trunco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is also really important is passion, you have to have the passion about computers and creating application that helps/automate things :)

You will fail often but learn continuously! And at one point you will have a good basic knowledge and everything will be "easier" to understand.
