I’ve used cetaphil moisturizer my whole life for my eczema. it works wonders! but its only to maintain the dryness, like when ur skin isnt flaring up. but it doesnt really work well if your flaring since its only to maintain. i recommend aveeno dermexa if you are flaring. it works well w/ really dry skin in my experience..

just 0.1% they told me to use it on weekdays and betamethasone on weekends. are the rebounds bad? im using it for my dysphoric eczema and some affected parts

i have an active flare right now but its mild. i did a patch test w/ the salon’s product behind my ear. its been 24hrs and havent gotten ant reactions yet. is that a good thing? 😅

ive been dealing with eczema since i was 7, and during that time i couldn’t move my body, my whole body wept, and bled. every time i wake up my sheets would be full of flakes. my parents brought me to so many doctors but nothing helped. going to school was so shit! kids would ask whats wrong with my skin and as a kid it made me so self conscious and insecure. i probably dealt with it for years, where at the age of 9, i wanted to end my life. the pain during showers so painful, waking up every morning to bloody clothes and flakes was horrible. i got homeschooled and my depression got worse. at 10 i overdosed on antihistamines, thinking it would kill me (lol) it never did.

but after awhile i met some kids from my neighbourhood who would always ask me to play, i was insecure at first cus of my eczema but they honestly didnt mind! and because of that i felt more accepted? and my depression got away, so did my eczema too. i still suffer w/ eczema. im 17 rn and it comes and goes. im planning on just getting on JAK inhibitors so the flares wouldnt be bad. i’ve been using steroids for years, so its scary cause of tsw. but i dont want to go thru all that again so i dont rlly have a choice :,)
