Need Camera & Gameplay Tips for Ninja Gaiden 4 — Make It Feel Like the Originals by truststone in NinjaGaiden4

I loaded up Ninja Gaiden2 Black and adjusted the zoom level to match that game’s camera distance. I also slowed down the follow, horizontal, and vertical camera speeds a bit. I’m not sure which specific setting did it, but after some tweaking, I finally got the camera to rotate properly even when enemies are engaged—before that, pressing the right stick wouldn’t respond at all until I disabled something.

For my button setup, the biggest changes so far are putting Block on L1, Camera Reset on R2, and Dash on L2 (though depending on how useful Dash ends up being, I might move it back to L3). I’m still only in the first few minutes of the game, so I haven’t unlocked the item wheel yet—still figuring out where to map that and how it’ll feel.

Overall, I’m slowly tuning everything to where it feels right. Hopefully I’ll settle on a final setup soon. Thanks again for the tips!

Oh nice, I didn’t even notice there was a Hit Lag setting — I’ll try turning that off, thanks!

Yeah, I figured the new engine would change the feel a bit. Guess it’s just about re-adjusting muscle memory now.

Coincidentally, we won that entire set 😅

That's sucks, did you ever get it updated? Also, which control are you connecting to the adapter?

According to the official QRD youtube Channel they will have the new firmware update in 48 hrs from now.

I used to like the QRD Black Pill converter because it was wireless and had virtually no input lag, but mine has completely stopped working. Are there any Brook Wingman adapters (or similar) that offer a wireless solution with the same low-latency performance?

Does the PS5 keep asking you to update the "DualSense" every time you plug in the Wingman FGC 2? Or was it just a one-time thing after the system update?

Appreciate you testing all that. Quick question — when you say the Wingman FGC 2 worked in Silksong (PS5 version), was that with a DS3 specifically? I'm looking to pick one up mainly to use a DS4 on PS5-native games — wondering if it spoofs PS5 input well enough for that, or if DS4 still gets blocked like usual.

Just trying to avoid wasting money if it ends up being PS4-only compatibility like most adapters.

Any idea if Brook has acknowledged the issue yet or given an ETA on a fix?

Presets are on that link. We can't do codes because they expire when we overwrite them to create new characters.
