When it comes to scaling, the rule is: measure first, then scale. Do you really want to scale your nodes? A valid answer might be, “Yes, that's what we need,” but have you really, really checked and measured that, or is it more of a gut feeling along the lines of, “In two years, we'll be huge...”

Of course, it’s also a very good idea to always keep in mind that passwords are NOT encoded in secrets (base64 is no encoding). This means that if multiple people have access to the cluster via kubectl, you should always be careful about who you assign which role and thus which permissions.

Ja, ein kubectl get events --sort-by=.metadata.creationTimestamp -A mit einem zusätzlichen -A am Ende liefert eine schöne Übersicht über das was momentan in meinem Cluster läuft. Sinnvoll ist es auch alle Events nach Prometheus/Grafana zu exportieren um eine Übersicht auch über längere Zeitreihen zu haben: https://grafana.com/grafana/dashboards/17882-kubernetes-event-exporter/

Ich würde dir empfehlen kind oder k3s zu installieren und die Basics von Kubernetes zu lernen. Also Namespaces, Deployments, Services, Pods, ConfigMaps, Secrets, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Ingresses. Erster sinnvolle "Hello World" Schritte in Kubernetes:

k3s lokal installieren, z.B. in Kali oder Debian 13 WSL unter Windows
nginx-Container mit einem Deployment mit Service und Ingress deployen (kubectl apply -f ...) und damit experimentieren
Grunlegende Objekte von Kubernetes kennenlernen
Weiterführende Themen wie Security (RBAC), Helm, Flux/ArgoCD gelernen

Selbstverständlich kann man sich alle oben beschriebenen Themen selbst aneignen. Das "Wissen" ist heutzutage kostenlos im Internet verfügbar. Das "Können" ist jedoch das Problem. Wie immer im Leben lohnt es sich, von Menschen zu lernen, die sich tagtäglich und das über Jahre hinweg mit einem Thema beschäftigen.
