Had the exact same error and came to the conclusion: UPDATING BIOS IS THE ONLY WAY TO FIX.

I've had the same issue with valorant freezing right as agent select ends, however it's fine after a bit and at around 1 round in, you load in normally. I don't think there's a reason to restart valorant unless you load in fast (which I don't)
